Everything was great. Quiet room, air conditioner worked well, friendly staff. And great location!!! However, the pillows were too big, too firm, too bulky. If not for that, I would give 5/5. But good sleep is very important. And without good pillow you cannot have good rest

This hotel is located at a great spot. Everything was walking distance. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very patient, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern, however I felt like the bathroom could’ve been laid out a bit differently. The shower door was half opened so water kept spilling out. There’s a place to put your toiletries on top of the sink, it was too close to the sink that I kept knocking my head on it when I was washing my face. Overall, place was great. The front desk gives you a clear description of what they recommend we see and the restaurants near by.

Nice rooms and good location. The reason I didn’t give 5/5 was the single lift/elevator that was always busy and the constant line when you needed the front desk.

The hotel is good, the location makes most things walkable. Lackluster restaurants with terrible service while we were there are attached to the building.

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect with being so close to numerous restaurants, The Parliament House, waterfront and lots of shops were walkable and it was nice to not have to drive anywhere. Fun bars are just next door. Coffee in the lobby is tasty.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, prima ligging, maar wel enigszins gedateerd. Dat geldt helaas vooral voor de ramen, we hadden een kamer aan de voorzijde, en vrijwel alle straatgeluiden hoor je bijna ongefilterd in de kamer. Dus personeel en ligging top, het gebouw kan een update gebruiken

The staff and rooms were nice and clean and close to everything. I wish (1) the hair dryer didn’t block the hand soap, (2) the bath towels were bigger, (3) there was a place downstairs to fill water bottles, and (4) you didn’t have to go into the shower to turn on the water.

the only recommendation I would say is to try and get a room on the higher floors. We were on the 2nd floor and the bar patrons outside could get a little loud.

Nice hotel, nicely refurbished with some history, helpful front desk. Parking $15 across the street. Nice restaurant and convenient booze store attached. Good location for walking to downtown Victoria.

I would definitely stay here again. Hotel was very good value for the area. Easy walk to multiple restaurants, tours, and shops. Rooms were clean and spacious. Parking was very easy. Air conditioning was much appreciated - as well as the extra blankets when it got chilly.

It's probably because of a last minute booking, but we were very disappointed by the room we got: too small (difficult not to bump into the bed's corner when walking by the window), unpleasant view on rooftop ac machineries and loud noise from it was quite annoying. The ac in our bedroom was also very loud and we had to use earplugs (complimentary offered at the front desk) to be able to sleep. Other than that, the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the hotel is ideally located in downtown Victoria. Better luck with the room next time?
