Bad view , we have requested higher floor but they provided the 2nd floor with bad view of air conditioning facility

We booked here last minute on a whim, and are we glad we did! Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Staff were amazing, polite, friendly, ebrytingz. Paulo, who checked us out, was incredible. Thank you Strathcona Hotel!

The room was a good size and very clean. We had a room that backed onto the alleyway and it was a bit noisy out there with drunk, yelling guys, cops, and the garbage trucks a few times from 4am-7am. It was within excellent walking distance of all the fun downtown shops and the attached restaurant was DELICIOUS.

Staff at check in were extremely professional and helpful. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Location was great to walk to many restaurants and amenities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel for others visiting Victoria.

This hotel is highly recommended. The location is very central and accessible. I did not drive nor use the public transportation during my vacation there to go to the touristic sites. The service was really good. This is a 3 star hotel but the service is even better than a 4 star hotel. The room I got was pretty tight but they have a daily housekeeping which I truly appreciate.

Great stay

We were warmly welcomed by the front desk receptionist, Anija, who was efficient and kind. The room was newly renovated, spacious, and had good lighting. The internet connection was easy to access and worked smoothly. The location is very convenient, and we had a great time at the Sticky Wicket as well.

A nice hotel, close to the water and downtown area.

Great location, funky old lobby and clean rooms, although we had a small window with not much view. Staff are friendly and free coffee all day. Would stay again!

We enjoyed staying at the Strathcona and all aspects of our six-night stay were top notch. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The room was fabulous. Clean and quiet and comfortable. Checking in was easy. I think the hotel should offer free parking.

The room and the Staff were great. The neighbours were loud until I called desk services at 5 a.m.

All the staff I spoke with were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and a cute layout, it would’ve been nice to have some extra towels already in the room, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

We were most impressed with Stanley who checked us in and was more than helpful. The room was spotless and quiet.

Clean rooms, helpful staff, great location. We stayed on the 5th floor right by the elevator so it was a little noisy as night but didn’t bother us too much. Would definitely recommend due to the walkability.
