Everything about our stay was perfect, food was excellent and use of the spa is well worth it. We were upgraded without requesting it (never ever asked before) the room was stunning. The only downside was that we were directly above the kitchen, and there was constant banging coming from the kitchen. When i asked, apparently it was the water pipes when the dishwasher was in use. Didn't really affect us, as we were hardly in our room, but i could imagine you wanted a relaxing time in your room then this could be annoying. It stopped late evening though. We were offered another room, but we were so impressed with the room, it was worth it. This is our second time here and will definitely be coming back.

Great stay

The hotel itself has lots of nice features but lets itself down in some places. When we arrived at 8pm there were no food options available - not even snacks and we were told the restaurant was full. The spa was underwhelming - the outdoor hot tub was tepid and the bubbles weren’t working - we were told an engineer was coming, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. The breakfast options weren’t hugely varied - the smashed avocado tasted and looked like a pot of pre made guacamole, and English breakfast left a lot to be desired. The fruit salad was only melon and pineapple both mornings, so could have been more varied. However the service was good and our room was specious and clean. Overall I felt let down given we chose the hotel because of the spa.

Every thing was perfect

Our stay at the Greenway Spa Hotel did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, our booking had been entered incorrectly, leaving our reserved room unavailable. The “upgrade” offered turned out to be a cheaper room. Cleanliness was also lacking — the bathroom floor was dusty and appeared not to have been cleaned for weeks. The spa facilities were especially poor: the steam room was out of order, the sanarium was overheated with a broken thermometer, and the sauna’s temperature and humidity gauges didn’t work. Hygiene standards were low as guests used the sauna without towels, with no clear enforcement of rules. Breakfast was underwhelming for a hotel of this class, with inconsistent coffee and poorly prepared Eggs Royale. Dinner was the only highlight. Check-out was chaotic, with a billing error that initially overstated the charges. Overall: very poor value and not recommended.

I would love to give this place an excellent rating however I can't because we had a power cut and we weren't able to eat food in the evening, which I realise is not the hotel's fault One thing I will say, they do do a great breakfast

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Greenway. We were upgraded on arrival, and everything about the stay was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was lovely, and the spa was also very good - my partner enjoyed her treatment as well. Food was excellent - we tried both the brasserie and main dining restaurant - both were delicious. Breakfast was also lovely. The only thing that could potentially be improved would be the WiFi, which wasn't great in our room - but it certainly didn't spoil our stay - we'd definitely come back!

Comfortable quiet hotel. Arrived late around 8.50pm and reception staff quickly organised bar menu food before kitchen closed! Large room beautiful gardens

Delightful stay for our anniversary. Beautiful hotel with great character and tasteful, fresh decor. Four poster room was wonderful and the views were a real treat. Room service was quick and the quality of all our meals in our room and in the restaurant was consistently excellent. The spa was perfect in every respect - clean and comfortable. The happy & helpful staff all made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the beautiful grounds and its views. The only way our stay could have been better would have been another night or two. :-)

A lovely property with good food and very nice facilities. The bee problem around the hot tub was odd and one front desk person told us a day trip would be 3 buses and 40 pounds when it was actually 1 bus and 6. Overall a lovely hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff very attentive and helpful. Got an upgraded room which was great. Food a tad expensive and we all thought the desserts were bland. Spa was good but can't comment on treatments as didn't have any. Would recommend.

The dining experience was excellent food amazing Spa was disappointing as sauna & solarium were out of order The hotel down graded our booking due to a problem with our room . Room was away from main house not welcoming It was disappointed as it was our anniversary. Staff were helpful . And compensated us well
