I love this motel, it's clean and well looked after. My only feedback is: 1. All rooms should be equipped with at least minimal cutlery and small plates. 2. $30/dog is excessive. It could be $15-20 and that would be more reasonable.

The room was clean, bright, and generously sized. Staff were welcoming & helpful.

When we opened the door we were greeted by a very strong chemical smell. The room looked ok but the shower had significant black mould. We opened windows and put the bathroom fan on before heading out again. Later when we came back the smell was not as strong but still noticeable. We asked to look at another room but it was just the same - strong chemical smell and black mould in the shower. The manager offered to spray it with bleach but that would have increased the smell. With the windows open and air con on it was bearable. The mould was a concern though and put us off using the pool. We also had a cockroach crawl out of the bed, so overall not a good experience. Disappointing because reviews we read beforehand were positive.

The room was spotless, the A/C was plenty cold and the meal at the pub across the road was delicious.

We booked the renovated king bed room and were travelling with a medium sized dog. The room was excellent- large, modern,clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for a dog bed. Bathroom was also modern and spacious. Close to the room there’s a large grass area which was perfect. Highly recommended Down the road there’s a petrol station cafe with decent breakfast items if you’re in a hurry .

This motel is always a perfect stop over on the way from Newcastle to Melbourne. In good location, close to the Hume hwy. it also has a good pub and bottle shop opposite and a great coffee shop nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful and it is always pristinely clean.
