The owner and the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to give me what I needed. I had a budget room and it had everything I needed. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and biscuits were replenished daily, and I had access to a toaster and a kettle. I would stay there again without thinking twice. Yes, it is on the freeway, so it can be a little noisy at times, but the solution is simple. Bring ear plugs. Most hotels on freeways are noisy. I stayed for eight nights and even extended my stay. The hotel is close to Bairnsdale and to fast food places and even to a public heated swimming pool. There is even a microwave in a small kitchen if you want to heat up some meals.

Very pleasant stay on way through town. Easy check in on line, and check out. Clean accommodation and nicely situated for access to town for evening dining. Would stay again!

Door open and key waiting when we arrived at 6pm. Very comfortable bed, all necessary bedding for a cold night, towels lovely and soft, hot water HOT. Excellent value for money,

This is an amazing value for money motel with a retro feel good factor. The owner Matt goes over and beyond for his guests, even giving me a lift to the train station one early morning. Cleanliness is awesome as are in room facilities. I will definitely stay here again when I visit friends.
