We had two hit but very enjoyable nights stay in July 2026. The hotel is a bit quirky but it has a lot of old English charm and the outside areas overlooking the Thames are lovely. We will stay again.

Nice clean room and helpful staff. I requested a sheet instead of a duvet as it was very hot in the room and it was duly supplied. There was a small fan in the room but sleeping was difficult. I couldn't get the shower to get warm so had a cold shower both days we stayed. The breakfast was OK...nothing special and the bacon was too fatty for me and the poached egg undercooked. We both had an evening meal there which was very nice and good value as there was a promotion on.

Our second visit and we would be happy to stay again. Set in a lovely olde worlde part of Shepperton it is a nice quiet location very close to the river. Lovely bar area and restaurant with an out door area to sit and watch the river life. The bedroom was a good size and comfortable, water pressure for the shower was a bit low but adequate. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was ok. Looking and bit tired and walls paper thin so quite a lot of noise from other rooms. Good location, staff friendly and food was nice.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious!

I could only find one socket in the whole room with 3 beds in the room , I couldn’t use my hair dryer and straightener as the only socket was on floor level, none by any of the beds for me to change my mobile phone, I tried to use the sink was slow running. I don’t bother using the shower. As the shower was over the bath with high side due to my disability I was unable to access it. My room was outside the hotel, I got soaked every time I came out of my room to access the main hotel, with dangerous steps in the hard rain.

The location is the best thing about the hotel. The terrace overlooking the river was lovely. Very relaxing to sit and watch all the wildlife and the boats. Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a little noisy as near the bin area so we were awoken at 4.30am on two mornings when the bins were collected.

The breakfast is lovely, the hot water in the shower takes a long time to come through but overall it’s a nice place to stay situated next to the river.

Run down beyond belief and staff have all the warmth and customer service of Herman Goerring. Seriously, how does anyone give this above two stars?

A really lovely, relaxing stay. Check in was easy, the room was nice and clean, very comfortable bed, had everything we needed except maybe a fridge. It is on the river and we had a lovely drink outside, watching the geese and goslings. Breakfast was great. Fantastic value and well situated for town and Thames walks. We’ll definitely be back!

Its a lovely hotel. Great location. Our room 31 was a little noisy as it had a connecting door with the room next to it and we could hear the other occupants. Food was very good and a wide choice same for breakfast menu. There was only one person on reception and the bar both in the evening and morning so service was a bit slow. Very friendly staff.

Very nice room with a view of the river. Excellent breakfast an evening meal. Direct train from Shepperton to Waterloo.

Continental breakfast was excellent and good value at £9.Parking was available but could be difficult at busy times. Our room was spacious and well-presented and opened out on to a terrace immediately overlooking the Thames.

Great location

Really nice place with convenient parking. Only issue which wasn't much was the floor was creeky and loud, the shower pressure could have been a little better but was still a nice place to stay.
