The location is excellent, very close to the main streets. The hot springs are very comfortable, lovely staff. I will definitely come again next time.

The hotel room is huge, and every detail is perfect. From the watch to the wine, everything is impeccable. Moreover, the hotel's location is close to the center of Bath, making it incredibly convenient for finding food and going shopping. The staff is also extremely polite, and the handsome young man from concierge, in particular, is exceptionally nice to us. He attentiveness made my partner and me feel like VIPs. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I highly recommend everyone to try the same experience at The Gainsborough Bath Spa Hotel!

Amazing staff and service

Room was good, AC was great! Building is very interesting, staff are top class professional and the spa area is fantastic.

Hotel felt a little bit dated. No parking concession despite the site advising there is parking.

Good room although the windows are highly positioned which means you cannot see the outside unless you’re standing up. The shower needs replacement and is not adapted to the size of the bathroom. Good staff and very pro. Breakfast is good.

Highlights were the beautiful, high ceiling room, the lovely doorman who worked on Tuesday-all day and Wednesday, and the awesome bartender from Germany who craft d great cocktails and made us laugh at the same time!

Everyone was so welcoming! Highly recommend - convenient location.

Friendly staff, centrally located and spacious rooms. Selected the room that had spring water option for bathing in the room, which was pretty cool

The service was great but we were let down by the lack of sufficient air con. We booked the 2 bedroom suite for 5 of us and we're only provided 2 fans. Staff tried to help as much as they could with the issue but we were very warm. The hotel was beautiful.

We arrived in Bath during an extreme heat wave. Our room was very cool and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff kept it immaculate for the four nights we were there. The spa is located, centrally in the hotel, and is extremely hot, keeping the hallways very warm. The cool plunge pool was not operating, during a time of an extreme heat wave, so that was a bit of a disappointment. We only used the Spa to have massages, which were very nice! The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the historic and beautiful city of Bath, and located right around the corner from the Roman baths. One thing that probably needs improvement is the fitness room. It’s outdated, and could use a good spring cleaning.

A lovely hotel to stay at, room was comfortable, staff was very accommodating. The spa pools were such a nice addition to our stay. Will come back on our next trip to Bath.

Well positioned, great facilities. the front desk staff and Concierge were appalling. Most of the time on entering the building they did not even greet us. The concierge was rather condescending , and did not help at all. There was little information on the sister baths. No information o the facilitates, restaurants. It is a lovely hotel that has an amazing location and is being let down by hospitality and service.
