Nice neighborhood to stay in

The homeowner was pretty warm and welcoming. But the bed had bugs and I had rashes all over my body after the stay.

Very friendly, lovely host. Very accommodating. Close to Market Mall (a short cab ride). Very nice shops available. Room very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay :)

Verna, the host, is a very kind and welcoming person. The house is located in a very nice area with a view to the river and a natural park. Perfect for nature lovers or those who like to have a daily walk. It is a very central neighborhood with easy access to downtown and major areas. The room was very cozy and big enough. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and the property is very-well maintained. The bed was excellent and everything in the room and shared areas worked. I love the breakfast Verna prepares herself. I would definitely stay at Verna’s home again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Verna’s home. She is incredibly generous and attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable. At the same time, she is very respectful of privacy, which I really appreciated. The place is quiet and peaceful. I also really enjoyed the breakfast—she was very generous with it, and it added a lot to the overall experience. On the occasions I had the chance to speak with her—especially upon my arrival and the next morning during breakfast—I found her to be warm, welcoming, and very wise. Staying there felt like being at the home of a kind aunt or grandmother, which made the experience even more special. I genuinely enjoyed our conversations. Unfortunately, I was only there for one night, but I would absolutely love to come back and stay longer in the future.

Verna is a great host and preps a mean breakfast. The B&B feels very homey and its location is very quiet and right next to the trails.

Verna was an exceptionally gracious host who is over 80 years old ….an amazing woman with great stories to share. She went out of her way to entertain us in the evening and at breakfast. Yes, even though the house is old and very outdated, it is cozy and warm and we will definitely be back. What makes this B and B so unique is the incredible view of Calgary and the numerous trails nearby and the home faces southwest so lots of sun. So we could’ve gone there

Clean and Quiet, excellent Host!

Loved my stay with Venra, lovely host and interesting to talk to. Made a lovely breakfast and ensured I had everything I needed. Gorgeous surrounding area, perfect for a morning run or walk. Fan in the room was very helpful!

Verna was such a lovely host! The room was clean and comfortable. Shared bathroom but that was totally fine and was kept clean as well. Had such a great time! We’ll be visiting again.

Enjoyed our stay at Cozy Nest, which is aptly named. The house sits right next to the river with a small walk to the river banks and many hiking trails near the river. We saw an eagle hunting, many birds and the river island nearby is home to many other animals that you can see if lucky. The hostess is so sweet and we had amazing conversation. She prepared great breakfast in the morning too. Would definitely recommend this bnb.

Nice green views out over the river, and the area is generally pretty quiet. Plenty of street parking and the property was straightforward to find / navigate to. There are places to eat within walking distance, and easy to get onto the more major routes to pop over to shopping, appointments etc. Friendly experienced host, check in was easy. No surprises - just as I expected from the listing and other reviews, I would stay there again if I had need.
