Friendly staff. Small dated room had some upgrades but was overpriced.

This was a charming little cabin, and the staff was very friendly. The location was convenient to the Sand Dunes.

Dirty, walls paper thin, I should have stayed in a motel 8.

Everything around the hotel in the area were nice. I noticed that my feet were black from dirt from the floors not being washed.

Very good place to stay. What I liked the most is that the motel sits back in the woods and has the option of a cabin also. Very clean place to stay.

It’s a great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area. Only knock was getting the water temperature right from the shower faucet; either it was very cold or scalding hot.

What a nice space! Clean and roomy cabin-room, with a separate bedroom and nice little kitchenette. They do charge for kitchen supplies (pots/pans etc), but I wish they had sent that notice to me a few days earlier, so I could've packed my own. Friendly staff and well run.

This is a reliable clean spot to stay in a great location. My only complaint is the blaring loud politics on TV in the front office. Not very welcoming for everyone.

The property was very clean, cute and cozy. They had a very nice fireplace and sitting area, the staff and check-in were absolutely a pleasure. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. It was close to everything including the lake. We will definitely be back.

Stayed in the cozy A-frame cabin for 2 nights with family. Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome. Only minus was there were no cutlery in the kitchen, luckily I brought some plastic ones from home, along with my frying pan, there were no pots and pans either. No dish soap so I had to buy some, along with sponges.

They don’t have pots and pans you have to rent a kitchen box for $25.00, I arrived at 1:50 checked in the kid that works there gave me the key and said we can’t check in until 2:30-3:00 or we would have to pay $25.00 for early check in I said we would wait and was walking out to my car the owner asked where we were staying I told him he said ok you can go now your cabin is one of the ones clean and ready I said thank you then I hear a woman in the back screaming at him because he told us we could go to the cabin now ! Literally screaming at him

Clean quiet old school vibe with friendly staff

When paying over $300 for two nights I believed it would be a cabin and have amble room inside to move around. Very stuffy and we were so uncomfortable in such a tiny room. We were charged 50 for our Golden Retriever who was very cramped as well. The coffee pot was broken and needs replacing. Such a horrible situation overall and will not return to Florence again

I liked the convenient location of this property and its surroundings. The cabins were cute and the yard area was fun with chickens coming by to visit. The staff was friendly. The property is on a busy road, and while the road was noisy during the day, at night the noise wasn’t too bad. I was very disappointed by the lack of amenities. There were no utensils at all in the cabin, nor any dish soap, so there was no way to clean the dishes. Our reservation was for 5 people and we were only given three towels. I got a notification from the property that we could buy a “kitchen kit” for $25, which I assume had these items like dish soap and silverware. I felt like those things should have been provided without asking for an extra charge, or the property should have advised beforehand so we could bring our own. We reserved a family cabin with a fridge, oven, microwave, etc. so silverware was expected. When we checked in, we were also asked to tip the housekeeping staff 5% of the cost of our total bill, another charge that wasn’t listed when I reserved the property. The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated, but I wouldn’t stay here again due to the hidden costs, few amenities and lack of communication.

Really fun cabin! The kids loved the bedrooms upstairs and said the beds were really comfortable.
