We found Hotel Rodon, Patmos, Greece, an excellent choice, when arriving precisely the festive day of the saint in order to visit the monastery of St John the Theologian. The owner was extremely serviceminded and helpfull and the room was impeccably clean and cosy. Close to the harbour, the hotel is perfectly situated for the ferrys and an ascent up to the Cave of the Revelation, the village of Chora and the monastery itself. In the evenings there are numerous cosy alleys with nice restaurants and bars where one can relax and sum up the experiences of the day. A good hotel for a very attractive price. Highly recommended! Nous avons trouvé l'Hôtel Rodon à Patmos en Grèce un excellent choix lors de notre arrivée le jour même de la fête du Saint, afin de visiter le monastère Saint-Jean-le-Théologien. Le propriétaire était extrêmement attentionné et serviable, la chambre impeccablement propre et confortable. Très proche du port, l’hôtel est idéalement situé pour y prendre le ferry et pour accéder à la grotte de l'Apocalypse, au village de Chora et au monastère lui-même. Le soir, de nombreuses ruelles accueillantes abritent de sympathiques restaurants et bars où l'on peut se détendre et faire le point sur les expériences de la journée.
