The staff at Hotel Mar are exceptional - friendly and very hard working. The site and room are very clean and the pool is great though could be larger. The food was excellent and the location is perfect for walking to the Sea and having a cocktail on the waterfront. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Die Zimmer waren extremst hellhörig. Uns wurde netterweise ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten, dies hätten die extreme Hellhörigkeit gerade für uns als Familie nicht verbessert. Das Personal war sehr nett ausser 1 junger Mann der einen ständig ignoriert hat und nie kommuniziert hat, nichtmal ein Hallo. Wir hatten extra die Suite mit Bali Liege gebucht, konnten die aufgrund Unsauberkeit und vieler Wespen direkt an der Hecke nicht einmal benutzen. Da haben wir den Aufpreis von 500€ zum Balkon umsonst ausgegeben, sehr schade! Auf den neuen Handtüchern und Bettlaken befanden sich bei uns ständig irgendwelche Blutflecken. Für die Kinder war der Pool und die Poolbar mit angrenzenden Spielplatz natürlich super!

This is a resort hotel with an excellent range of central facilities and activities. The whole operation is extremely well managed. All the staff are excellent, but particularly the waiting staff, who were amazing. The suites are large and well designed. The all-inclusive deal (early May) was excellent value for money. Meals were buffet style, with a wide range of excellent food and drink always available.

The wonderful football field next to the resort! The staff were kind and attentive to our needs, and the food buffet was delicious. The kids club was amazing! My boys enjoyed going there every day to do crafts, play games, and play football. We had such a lovely experience!

Friendly staff, perfect amenities for young families & children, great location

What made this Hotel special was undoubtedly the friendliness of all the staff from reception to the cleaners, and if you have toddlers then they will be spoiled!, great location just off the start of the pinewalk that runs all along the bay, and huge choice of food in the dining hall, a great Hotel.

For a family holiday I cannot fault this place. The staff are wonderful, the food is wide ranging and delicious, the all inclusive is great value, the games and entertainment is spot on and the facilities are awesome. The kids particularly loved the water slides and the evening show.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff.

We had a great stay in the hotel and our son loved every bit of his time there. The apartment was spacious and well-designed although we found that mattresses were hard and uncomfortable, but we understand that this can be quite subjective. One thing that we found really odd was that the security safe in the room was subject to extra fees which is simply unreasonable and first time I encountered this sort of policy. All staff members that we met were really nice and helpful and made us feel welcome - they definitely make this place great and we can't praise them enough to give them justice. The pool area is great for kids, however, the main pool is too small for the number of guests that the hotel can accommodate. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy holidays with kids when in Mallorca.

Good for families with young children, not so good for couples. Also food marked as vegetarian was usually not with evident bits of meat in, and gelatin in the desserts.
