It was wonderful today in hotel ikon, I was just unsatisfied with the airco. Tried to set it lower temp to get cooler but always back to 29c 😌. The rest all awesome! Keep it up. Thinking to stay there again once back to phuket 😊.

Hotel is new, clean, very nice layout, clean pool and friendly staffs. It is in Karon Beach area which is opposite side of the airport, an hour bus/taxi ride. Shuttle bus from airport is 200 baht or taxi at 1000 baht. Hotel is not right on the beach but within walking distance, about 1km and hotel does offer free shuttle to the beach and you can borrow beach towels at the front desk. It is close to an amazing restaurant Mama Jin, massage place Sweet Lemongrass Massage, evening market Karon Temple Market (open Friday night only). No mini bar in the room but you will find multiple stores selling alcohol and water across the street. The only funny thing to mention at the hotel is, there is a 200 baht fine if you wet the Karon magazine in the room. My first time visiting Thailand so not sure if this standard at other hotels.

Breakfast staffs, security uncles and room attendance were friendly. The hotel was themed under eco-friendly but can be improved. Room facilities such as the corner of the bed design can be made better. As my bf and I got hit by it a few times accidentally and had no choice but to use cloths to avoid getting injured during our stay. Booked an ocean view room to enhance our stay, however was only able to see a slight bit of ocean view literally one line from afar, which was quite disappointing... Also, there are 3 different buildings hence it is not direct access to the room directly. if you were to book the ocean view room. You have to change a total of 3 lifts before getting to the room which was kind of a hassle. They only provide 1 room card. Hence, when you leave the room all electricity will be off. Aircon will only restart every time when you get back to the hotel after a whole long day out under the sun and the room was warm and stuffy. Also, when i wanted to charge my phone in my room while i go for a swim before starting our day adventure all electricity had to be off as there is only 1 card given to us which was not really comfortable nor convenient. Gym facilities is limited and not working. However, the pool was great! Would recommend to people who enjoys long walks as the convenience store is some distance away and people who don't mind being eco-friendly to a certain extent.

room very clean and all staff very nice and helpful especially security officer at nightshirt.
