The room smelled badly like mildew/ dirty socks. I had to air it out and buy febreze to mask the smell. The common room had two mini fridges and a keurig. There was no sink to rince or wash dishes. I paid the cost of a hotel, but it was more basic than a youth hostel. Will consider other places next time I visit the area.

This is a lovely auberge. Tastefully decorated with the charm of the era. Room was spacious and clean. Centrally located. The staff was very friendly and informative. The common area with coffee and tea was a really nice touch and the balcony was a pleasant surprise. We will be back.

Well situated in the heart of this little community. Park your car and walk everywhere. Beautiful second story deck. Nice restaurant on main floor. Perfect for a getaway weekend.

Great location in the heart of Knowlton. The room was a good size and well maintained. There’s no elevator and at least one flight of steps up to rooms. The attached restaurant was good and there are a number of restaurants nearby.

The hotel has been in existence since 1849 and there is definitely a charm to it! I didn’t know there was no elevator when booking and my mum who is elderly had trouble to climb many stairs. The gentleman at reception (Gabriel) was so very helpful to us to and it was a relief to me and mum. We were there overnight but very happy to have been at the charming hotel. It is smack in the small town which was ideal.

Check in was easy. Staff helpful. This is an old building with stairs. No elevator. It was quiet. Adjacent restaurant was fine with reasonable prices. Room very clean. Comfy beds. Quiet A/C.

Ok hotel, but for the price you can get way better around that area.

Although the location is perfect if you are looking to stay in Knowlton, the building is run down and the rooms are completely outdated. There was no one at reception when we got there, an envelop with room key waited for us. The bathroom is very old and you can here the pipes working overtime when opening the shower. It is very clean even if old. The price for that kind of room in completely unjustifiable.

Cela aurait pris un ligne de couleur rouge pour avertir qu'il a cette marche supplémentaire qui n'est pas de la même dimension que celles dans le restant de l'escalier. Mon épouse et moi sommes tombés à cause de cela. De plus, le stationnement n'est pas pavé, de la boue partout parce que l'on est au printemps. Il n'y a personne au comptoir de service. C'est bruyant puisque l'auberge est à l'angle de deux rues. Je ne recommanderai jamais cette auberge à personne.

Very historic in beautiful local village. Clean and comfortable, but very basic. Convenient to very pleasant bistro and bar on ground floor with good food and very reasonable.
