We were expecting a much nicer resort vibe. It's OK- good breakfast, nice pool, tidy, friendly staff… but almost completely lacking in Thai charm, ambiance and character. The landscaping is more uniform and precise than inviting. The bungalows (many!) are spacious and comfortable enough but constructed in straight rows with brown painted cement and green composite (plastic?) roofing material. The large bathroom is functional but that's about it (clashing, mismatched tiles throughout). The dining hall and reception area are like a mid sized bus station. Nice view for sure. Again, functional but completely lacking in welcoming ambiance or inviting charm. More of a compound feeling than a resort- like a Chinese military retreat. Sorry guys.
