Excellent location, 10 minutes walk to King Cross station. A small and elegant hotel with good management. The room has no lift and air-conditioning though.

Amazing customer service people. Helpful and nice. Room was clean, bathroom nice and clean. Location is good, quick walk to the British Museum. Highly Recommended.

Staff was great, stay was wonderful. Should be called the 'much more than goodenough hotel'!

The room is very clean which is important to me. The onsite laundry is also convenient, especially for my 10-day trip in London.

We stayed in the Virginia Woolf suite which provided lots of space for our family of four. Excellent bedroom and bed. Larger bathroom than in some hotels here. We knew there was no a/c and despite the heat, we utilized fans and kept drapes closed when out and it was fine. Decent coffee in the room. Bloomsbury area south of the hotel (Lamb Conduit st) is lovely to wander and get a drink/food. We walked from Covent Garden in 20 mins. Walking north to Kings Cross was 10 mins - easy to hail a cab when with luggage. Hung out in Granary Sq (great for kids) and visited The Lightroom. Only quirk is breakfast set up located in basement where you check in. Space is teeny tiny but the staff don’t really let you grab and go (which would be ideal). Definitely worth the walk over to the college for breakfast - lots of space and choices. Just abit confusing initially. Overall, convenient location for Eurostar and hard to beat size of the suite. Very quiet setting given location to Kings Cross. Recommend.

Overordnet pænt, rent og hyggeligt hotel. Men dog med enkelte fejl og mangler, som gør at oplevelsen ikke er helt så god. Værelset var utroligt småt. Som i meget småt. Men det gik nok. At der så var flere ting på værelset som var i stykker, eller ikke hang ordentligt fast på væggen, gjorde at man fik en fornemmelse af sjusk. Vi havde bl.a. en lampe som hang, et spejl som ikke sad fast, og en havedør som ikke kunne åbnes (derved ingen mulighed for at få frisk luft ind i værelset). Badeværelset var lille, men fint og rent. Dog mangler der knager til at hænge håndklæder op, når man er 2 personer. Morgenmaden var altså også lidt kedelig. Ville jeg benytte hotellet igen? Ja det ville jeg nok. Men så vil jeg måske sørge for at få et værelse på selve hotellet, og ikke ude i gårdhaven (eller hvad man skal kalde det). Det skal siges at vi ikke har påpeget fejl og manglerne til hotellet.

War eine moderne und saubere Unterkunft! Keine AC, dafür ein Ventilator.

Frábær staðsetning í göngufæri við The British museum. Við prófuðum ekki veitingastaðinn á hótelinu en það eru góðir staðir í nágrenninu. Herbergið var rúmgott og hljóðlátt með nýlegu baðherbergi. Rúmið var stórt og þægilegt og svefnsófinn frábær fyrir börnin.

No air conditioning or elevators. This is not advertised by the hotel

A nice space and location. The decorations and ammenities for the room are well done. However, it needs some maintenance and new carpet. The carpet was all stained and disgusting in our room and hallways. And there were chips and repairs in the walls that were not touched up with paint. And there is NO A/C.

Over priced for the standard of hotel.

Great neighborhood, strange hotel. More like a dorm room

There was no air conditioning in our room, and with outside temperatures reaching around 30°C, the room itself felt just as hot—if not hotter. We were placed on the top floor, which not only intensified the heat but also meant climbing several flights of very narrow stairs with luggage and a young family, as there were no elevators. Our room faced south, which only worsened the situation by allowing direct sunlight to stream in for most of the day. To make matters worse, the refrigerator in the room overheated and was actually emitting additional heat, requiring a service call just to have it unplugged. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay, and certainly not worth the price we paid.

It is een excelent hotel, with nice and adequate staff. The Goodenough House with the nice, very large breakfast room (“Zweinstein-like”) , the garden opposite the hotel was nice tø visite. [ only the “courtyard” view was horrific… , a view at a wall…]

Room was below ground level with window facing back stairway, limiting privacy. Noisy above us late into evening. Breakfast options ( included) were below par.

The hotel is a beautiful historical building and got a great room the issue is because is a historical building there is no air Conditioning which for me is a problem they provided a fan and thanks god it Was not super Hot, the personnel was amazing helping but there is no elevator
