Lovely room and great place for a weekend away

Enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t come back due to the awful room 13 which is tiny and has a view of a hedge with old chairs dumped in it, despite asking them to remove them. The plug sockets are so low on the desks that you can’t actually plug anything into them. We got moved to another room that was a bit better but still very small compared to most hotels I have stayed in. The restaurant food was ok at best and the breakfast was ok. Nice bar area and friendly staff

Stayed here a lot with work and it's always excellent, staff are brilliant, building is beautiful, rooms nice and big but.....we were there in a heatwave and there's no air conditioning so it was a hot sticky uncomfortable 3 nights. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back, but will avoid it if it's during a heatwave next time!

Everything was great had a good night . Was at a party in their function room and I would love to have my birthday party there in November. Honestly best night in a long time time! 5star

Lovely hotel, staff are excellent, really friendly and helpful. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning, we were there in the heatwave so it wasn't their fault but the rooms were so hot it was impossible to sleep, the fan in the room didn't really help however, it is a beautiful place, food and drinks are good, rooms are lovely, anytime other than a heatwave it's wonderful and highly recommended.

The room wasn’t air conditioned but there was a fan but it was a very hot day, comfortable room and great location.

A lovely hotel, staff were very accommodating. Hotel was clean and will be coming back. Close location to all the bars, the bar in the hotel was also very nice and breakfast in the morning was lovely.

Been away 12 times this year in and around the uk This hotel is in my top 3…Value for money in the heart of Alderley edge clean perfect staff lovely bar great breakfast plenty room for parking my one and only negative was no air con but they do have a fan..Overall great hotel will be going back

Only stayed for 1 night but it was excellent & in a great location to walk to the local bars & restaurants!

I stay here often for work and it's always good. Great location, walking distance to the bars and restaurants in Aldeley Edge, lovely staff, nice rooms, good food and good wine.

Check-in was quick and simple, with directions to room given. The room itself, was very clean and lived up to the executive room type, with lovely decor and furnishings. The amenities were spot on, coffee machine, tea tray with lovely biscuits. Bed was big and very comfy, pillows were great. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection and tge service was fantastic. Overall a great stay, thanks.

Really lovely staff and a gorgeous property

I'm sorry to say I can't recommend the Alderley Edge Hotel. I stayed here for a business trip to the local business park, booked for two nights. The first night was fine — I slept well. My room (55, second floor) ran warm, but opening the window solved it. In the morning I noticed the shower pole had come away from the wall and was just hanging there. I flagged it at reception. It was still usable, so no real issue. The second night was a different story. The hotel was hosting an awards evening in the function hall, and guests were using the garden directly below my window to smoke and drink. They were extremely loud, and cigarette smoke was drifting straight up into my room. I closed the window despite the heat, but the noise was still bad enough that my partner, who I was on the phone to, thought there were people in the room with me. By 10:30pm it had got worse, so I called reception. I was told they'd ask people to keep it down. Nothing changed. At 11pm I went down in person and met another guest who'd come down for the same reason. The assistant manager assured us the garden would be closed. Things quietened for about ten minutes. Then the awards guests came straight back out and carried on. At that point I'd had enough. I requested a refund and drove five hours home rather than spend another hour in the room. After a long day at work, all I'd wanted was an early night
