Large room and bathroom; bed very comfortable. Lovely view from hotel grounds. Breakfast under whelming....excellent ingredients, especially the bacon, but hot food was lukewarm at best. Limited choice for eggs and fruit.

Had an a amazing stay hotel was stunning set in a amazing location with views of cardiff bay breakfast was delious but drink and food prices were abit expensive

I had a fantastic time staying here for my wedding weekend! The staff were absolutely fabulous, and the room was spotless. The beds were so comfy, I honestly didn’t want to leave! Can’t wait to book and stay again soon!

Great views and a good dinner and breakfast. The gym is good for cardio but lacks weight machines and disinfectant spray/wipes.

We upgraded to the junior suite and foujd the room amazing , breath taking . Wonderful grounds , amazing views The breakfast in the morning had many items to choose from . Great staff We can't say enough about this property. And hope we will be able to come back again

Lovely clean and recently renovated room. Front of the property and on the first floor so a stunning view of Cardiff and Caerphilly mountain. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and quality items on the menu. All the staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel and stunning views. Only small gripe is that the hotel was a little warm, nothing that couldn’t be sorted by opening the windows and turning off the radiator in the room. Fan in the wardrobe and also available at reception. Then again who could predict 20 degrees in April!

The room was perfect size for a family of four. It was a gorgeous location.

a quaint old house in lovely grounds. the room we very well kept as was most of the hotel and grounds. the only slight worry was a pungent smell in the corridor between the bar and the rooms which was quite unpleasant. this was only in the ground floor corridor though, not obvious upstairs or in the room or the main hotel. Serve was friendly and efficient.
