Great hotel, beds were comfy. Stayed with our baby and they set up a cot bed in the room. Only comment would be the baby changing facilities were only available in the female toilets, making it quite difficult for my husband to change our daughter.

A beautiful property with plenty of character. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful in organising our need for early breakfast. The room was a good size and although no air conditioning a fan was provided on request. The shower was very powerful but a little inconsistent with the temperature.

The buildings had a good character and were well maintained in general (difficulty with external door access). Dining room was functional but menu and bar facilities were basic.

Good stop for a short stay would have been better with a walk in shower bath no good for people with mobility issues. Bed was Comfortable and clean Bit of an issue with a young boy riding a scooter up and down in the bar/ dining room 2 members of staff totally ignored him.

We were attending a wedding so decided to stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lovely bed and slept well. It was a very warm evening so we asked for a fan as there was no air conditioning. The staff gave us a fan for the room. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and it’s a fantastic venue for a wedding inside and outdoors with beautiful patio areas in the gardens. Would highly recommend.

We only stayed for 1 night as a stopover on a long journey. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great, really powerful. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast. All were really good. If we were going to be picky, the only negative was that it was the same limited a la carte menu to choose from for lunch and dinner, so if you were staying for more than one day, there were limited choices.The staff were all helpful and friendly. We're definitely looking to go back again.

The room was lovely and clean. Staff were helpful and courteous. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the dining room. The food was very good, and again the staff were very friendly and courteous. We would like to suggest in the absence of air conditioning that the room at least be given a fan. It was very warm.

Beautiful boutique hotel with nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds and tasty breakfast. Quiet and charming too!

The building and grounds are lovely. Staff helpful on the whole. Room was unbearably hot and windows secured. I asked reception for a fan and a way to open the windows however it took several hours to cool down. Could not sleep due to the fact there was a wedding event with a live band that didn’t stop until midnight. It was a bit like trying to sleep in a tent at a festival. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.

Nice Hotel, convinient location but way to hot during summer Time. My room had sun all day, no aircon and no air, even with open window. Front desk didn’t seem to mind when I asked for another room or at least a ventilator. Conclusion, perfectly good hotel, not during summer at 28degees plus outside.

A beautiful hotel! Lovely renovated rooms. Great shower pressure. Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Free parking. Only downside was the room was very hot and beds very soft

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was exceptional! The garden beautifully maintained. Would definitely recommend. Location close to the motorway but felt we were miles away.

Very pleasant stay, excellent staff all very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Food was very good from a slightly limited menu. Room was spacious and comfortable with very nice toiletries. Only issue we had was our room was over the delivery door which was noisy when deliveries arrived at 6am Saturday morning and next to the boiler. For a wedding venue we were surprised that there was no full length mirror.

Excellent stay great rooms and breakfast. Grounds are delightful. An incredible place to stop very near M6.
