Small nice room

The hotel us situated at the outskirt of Sheffield town centre and about halfway between city centre and Meadowhall Shopping Centre (which is also where coach station is situated). The room is relatively small for two people. There is a desk and only one chair within the room and another guest has to sit on the bed. The TV signal reception is very poor. It is not possible to watch TV in the room. Bathroom/toilet is clean and well maintained. The room has no hot water boiler. But free coffee and tea are available free at reception lobby. There is no drawer or cabinet within the room. So. There is no place to put our personal belongings. Breakfast food is fairly good and is reasonbly priced.

The vents were very dusty and dust was falling down during my stay, which wasn’t great. It would really help if these were cleaned more regularly. Reception staff could also be a bit friendlier.

Reasonable room… but bed uncomfortable. Very very well located for Sheffield Utilita Arena. We were charged £9 to park the car. I was not made aware of this in advance.

The room wasn't the best condition Expedia stated breakfast fir £8 + which I took only to find out it was only a cold breakfast on offer and the offerings were definitely not up to standard or worth the money No help form either ibis or Expedia on request of refund as breakfast was not taken or even good enough to entertain

A very pleasant girl on check in, found my room easily which was clean and presentable

Generally does for overnights, we stayed a couple of times for concerts etc, but lift was out of order this time so when based on 4th floor with luggage it was a pain.

Really sad to find the parking charge was a ridiculous £8.50

Wasnt told that there was an extra charge for parking, think if id known i would be paying extra on tbe parking i would of paid extra on the room somewhere else, as the beds were uncomfortable, but the overall was good, staff were nice,

We got stuck in the lift on the 2nd day , the staff didnt speak very good english , we gotbtold not to open the doors then 30 mins later got told to open the doors by the same member of staff, during this time bearing in mind my partner is going through cancer treatment and has a very weak bladder she soiled herself which was most embarrassing and could of easily been avoided

Really happy with the room and service

It’s a budget hotel. No bells or whistles and you get what you pay for. Every time I came back from the office, my key didn’t work. Only ever one person on reception and everything is very slow. Was supposed to stay three nights but checked out a day early. It’s fine if you’re going to the arena and need one night but nothing more than that.

Clean room, friendly staff and not far from Sheffield on tram.
