Fantastic place to stay in Keswick, simply couldn't fault anything. Clean rooms, gorgeous breakfast and friendly staff. I can't wait till my next visit.

Nice rooms in authentic atmosphere, the bed was relatively small. All accomodations were present. Excellent breakfast with custom eggs on demand.

Vi bodde her i to netter og hadde et veldig hyggelig opphold. Hotellet ligger helt perfekt til, midt i Keswick, med kort vei til alt. Rommet var rent og komfortabelt, og aircondition var et stort pluss under de varme julinettene. Frokosten var veldig god, og den tilhørende puben hadde en hyggelig atmosfære. Personalet var vennlige og imøtekommende. Et flott sted å bo hvis du skal oppleve Keswick og Lake District. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Room was perfect, air con was a treat. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were exceptional as was breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Clean room, nice staff, near to restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and chemist.

Room was very clean and tidy. Quiet as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the pub was very nice, good range of beer and tables outside (great when the sun is out). Very happy to stay there again.

Hotel had good AC in the worst weather. But the staff was exquisite!! Nice pub, good food, did I mention the great staff?

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Royal Oak. Lovely air conditioned room. Very clean. Lovely breakfast and staff very attentive and friendly. Dog treats and goody bag were a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and will be back when we visit Keswick again.

We had a delightful stay. The room was lovely and clean. The pub downstairs was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Recommend.

The bedroom is tiny and it's a big slope from window to door,food is expensive,staff are friendly and helpful. Not worth £240 per night

Great location in town centre. Stay spoiled by sewer odour in bathroom that couldn’t be disguised by the scented bottle they put in there. Property also didn’t reply to an email I sent about an item I left behind in the room.

I stayed here while walking the Cumbria Way and it is in an excellent location. On the high street, but on the corner soon a quiet location. The building looks fantastic and is close to shops and restaurants and cafes in Keswick, but far enough away to be away from the crowd not to be busy. The pub and restaurant are smart and tidy and the food in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The room I stayed in was very comfy and had everything I could have wanted. The bathroom was very smart and well equipped and even though it was a compact bathroom it was well designed.

Perfect place to stay in Keswick

We had a family room, it was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. The adjoining room with the bunk bed was very spacious. This is an old building, so no elevator and narrow corridors but we had help with our luggage up the stairs. Location is adjacent to the pedestrian area (lovely for a walk around) and parking is off-site about 5 min walk away. There is a bar and restaurant on-site and the food was good. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a fruit and cereal buffet and hot items to order from the menu. I would definitely recommend staying here.
