首先房間內沒有WiFi服務，現今社會，酒店沒可能沒有Wi-Fi服務，他的酒店只供應大堂，房內設施簡陋，沒有雪櫃也沒有保險箱，房間內亦沒有盒裝紙巾供客人使用，也沒有提供樽裝水給客人。 我也住過他鄰近酒店而且價錢比這更還低港幣$200一晚，但是他每天提供兩支樽裝水，第一天入到房內還有朱古力贈送，他們房間的Wi-Fi接收能力還比自己的上網卡更強，也有盒裝紙巾放在睡床旁邊！ 所以再對比一下，這間酒店的好處只是近碼頭！其他不值一提

房間寬敞，床鋪整潔舒服。早餐豐富有選擇。方便。附近吃東西方便。

Room too hot. I booked with twin beds, but the room was with double bed! The receptionist asked us at 22pm if we want another room. Only a fan in the room, couldn’t sleep much as it was too hot during the night. The room was near the main hallway door, so other visitors were going g up and down making noise going through that door all night. Also noises of people waking on the next floor, our room ceiling was trembling from time to time during the night. First time in this hotel, no room view, windows facing a wall and a roof very close to our room windows. Glad we only booked for a night. Breakfast and hotel location were nice.

Staff were friendly and it’s in an excellent location. Opposite the station and HoverPort. Beach and town in easy walking distance. They were happy for us to leave our luggage before checkin and also to let us leave our bikes in a back room overnight. The hotel is large and old and therefore maybe a little tired. Our room was a superior double with Seaview. The room was clean and an adequate size with a great view of hovercraft and beach. However due to the heatwave it was incredibly hot. As it’s an old Hotel there is no air con. Had the window open all night which meant you got the noise from pub next door as well as the road, train and the hovercraft. Not a complaint but something to bear in mind when booking. If I stayed again I’d book a room at the rear of Hotel. We escaped the heat of our room sitting downstairs in the comfy lounge area with drinks from the bar. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to be excited about.

Room was clean, dining room staff friendly, breakfast was usual buffet and was okay. Porridge was good. Nice hotel at esplanade on seafront opposite Hovercraft station. No parking though. Reception not that helpful really when we first arrived with regard to parking which is when you need the advice. Should inform guests more about the possibilities for parking. Paid for premier room for 3 nights, got Room 1 which was above the kitchen, in this hot weather all windows are open so lots of noise and cooking smells coming into our room through window, starting at 06.30am so not really very restful. Due to this would not stay again, I know that it's an older building and didn't expect too much but that particular room was not great for the money charged. How is it Premier?

All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location for the town, the bus and train station and hover craft, however the hovercraft is quite noisy if your room at the front of the building. Good food at all meals and the free cooked breakfast was a real bonus.

We booked a superior sea view room and it was lovely and spacious with comfy beds and good amenities. Completely let down by one of the worst full English breakfasts we’ve ever had. Dry, over-cooked and poor quality food. Would not return based on this.

This place is anything but Royal. The pictures are a lie. The floor in our room was on a slant. The disgustingly filthy carpet covered a patchwork floor. The windows only opened about 2" and no AC. There was a fan that was covered in years of dust and grime and barely blew any air. I asked for another one. I got one that was 10" in diameter and was also filthy but not as bad. I cleaned it as best I could and it blew a bit better than the other one. The bathroom was 2 rooms that were 2' x 4'. One was the sink and toilet. The other was the 2' x 2' shower with a 2' x 2' area to stand and dry. It says there is an elevator but it does not go to every floor. It only goes to full floors. Not 1/2 floors which are every other floor. If you have any mobility issues you are in trouble. You always have to walk up or down 1 or 2 flights of stairs. The on-sight parking is actually off-site around the corner. There may be some rooms that have been renovated and the pictures lead you to believe this. However, all rooms in our section were the same. Just plain disgusting and small. The day we checked out my husband wound up in hospital with a bacterial infection. He is still there with severe health problems. This is the only place we had been. Don't go here. There are far more beautiful places on The Isle of Wight.

Had a good time. Breakfast was included, wasn't the best breakfast but can't complain. Staff was helpful and really nice. Room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable, could have slept there all day!!

The staff are friendly and the hotel is very centrally located for the town centre, beaches and the Hovercraft. However, some rooms are better than others. Our party of two was allocated one room which was fine but one which did not have a shower- it had a shower head on the bath but no curtain or screen so you couldn’t use it as a stand up shower. So, I’d ask to see my room before committing to pay. Also, if you’re driving, call the hotel to book parking in advance if you want to park in their car park. There are other parking options nearby too.

The Ryde Esplanade hotel is situated across from the island buses, the train station and the hovercraft terminal

I have been staying at this hotel every 2 years for the last 10 years and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and functional and the beds very comfortable. I love sitting in the outoor area. The location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the ferry port and a short walk from the beach. There are many options for food nearby and also a Sainsbury 5 mins away. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. I totally recommend this hotel and I look forward to my next stay!

Awful run down avoid not worth half the price

Only thing we don't not enjoy about the hotel, was the breakfast and the knife was very blunt would not cut butter with them. Other than that, nice hotel

I highly recommend staying at this hotel . Friendly, very helpful staff ,. The room was spotlessly clean . And only very short distance from.the beach and all the amenities . I shall be going back

Super room overlooking hovercraft. High ceilings, mattress v soft but comfortable. Be warned that may get coach parties mid week but weekend clientele are younger.
