I booked a 2 bedroom unit to start Sunday. I had to push my flight to Barcelona out a day and we arrived Monday afternoon. I message the property through Hotels.com app letting them know of my late arrival. I said I didn’t need to adjust the start date, just letting them know I wouldn’t be there for the first day. I had already paid the week in full. When we arrived, we were informed they had canceled our stay and booked our unit due to not arriving on the first day. They only had a studio unit available and wanted to rent it for the same price and I would have to change buildings for our last night. We settled on a discount for unit size but that’s all we could agreed on.
