This is very close to The Lost Spring so we can just walk to the place and back. Just opposite to the Beach. Was not cold as there was not much rain in the weekend considering it was winter time. Very lucky. The lady looking after the motel was very willing to lend us another set of towel for us to use at the Lost Spring. Was very kind. Thank very much. Has a wonderful two nights there. Was not busy so there were plenty of parking. Will come back and stay there again one day.

Nice stay

Nice room with a great view out to the ocean. Comfortable and spacious.

I was upgraded on arrival without even asking for it. Check in was quick and Viv answered all of my questions. There is a no smoking policy which I think previous guests didn’t follow. There was a slight aroma, but it didn’t take away from the room at all. But guests should respect those rules for future guests and the hotel’s benefit.

Very friendly, informative and helpful host. We stayed at 4 Buffalo Beach road (there is a sister property at 13, a short walk away). Right on the beach road (you only have to walk up the driveway to see the beach). We stayed in Unit 11: a lovely ground floor studio with combined lounge area and kitchenette (sofa and TV, coffee table, dining table and two chairs). Fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, electric frying pan, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, utensils, etc Separate bedroom with good sized comfortable bed, with TV. Separate shower room with toilet. Everything very clean, in very good condition. We used the laundry at No. 13, hanging the washing out to dry on the line at No. 4. We were offered beach towels and a mini shovel - which we used at Hot Water Beach. Plenty of choice of TV channels. Parking right outside our unit. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and the passenger ferry/wharf - from where a number of boat tours depart. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Marlin

Wonderful roomy place for 4!

Nothing to complain about amazing staff even replaced our towels for us 2 days in. We will be back for sure very impressed.

Perfectly situated with patio on the coast. The staff was all excellent and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants. Loved being able to wash a load of clothes. Airconditioning was quiet. All in all a great stay. Thank you

Photos were very misleading. No view at all, except for the other units. Not even a tree in sight.

This stay was brilliant. I came over for emergency purposes and was greeted, chatted to and welcomed with such kindness and care. The room was beautiful, cosy and so clean. Smelt divine and had all sky channels for your leisure. The best part really was the owner and how beautifully warming welcome and accomodating she was. A great sense of humour and made the stay so wonderful I will be come back tomorrow before I fly home! Highly recommend

There are 2 Blue Marlin motels. Nos. 4 & 13 Buffalo Beach Rd. The photo on Hotels.com page is from 13. No4 is an older place, clean & well equipped but floorboards are squeaky. Not so good in a downstairs unit. Apart from that handy to town centre &over the road from beach & walkway

Over night stay was fine, it did lack certain utensils which were supplied in other accommodation we have stayed in. Our 1 bed unit was a good size and location was on the outskirts of the town centre . The unit we were in was set back from the road with another building in front but because we were on the first floor we did have a view through to the beach.

Lovely apartments, very well equipped. Opposite a stunning beach. Would definitely recommend these. Not far from the marina and all the shops and restaurants.

Loved the patio and that the beach is right across the street. Walked into town for dinner. Kitchen area was well equipped. Wish we could have stayed another night. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

The studio room was tiny and not worth the $205 per night (Oct). It lacked some utensils in the kitchen, no plug for the sink, had only two plastic command hooks to hang clothes, was very dated and basic. It looked better in the online pictures than actual. Very disappointed, wouldn't stay there again as not value for money.
