The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. The Old Manor House B&B is beautifully kept in every way….we had the red room, which was very comfortable with it super king bed, old stone floor and lovely walk in shower. Graham, the owner, was very attentive from the moment we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay

Beautiful well maintained property, thoughtfully renovated and perfectly located for exploring Cheddar and the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was great with locally sourced produce and homemade bread and conserves.

What a lovelyplace to stay! A lovely building safe parking rustic but modern room very clean and comfortable great friendly host and delicious breakfast complete with homemade bread and jams! Definitely would recommend!

Great BnB, perfectly located for the Mendips, Wells, Cheddar but equally the coast Weston, Bream, Burnham. And Bristol not too far. Loads of parking for each room. Owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, rooms were well acquainted and well decorated especially for the age of the building. My main fear was the noise of the road, but considering the heat of the bank holiday even with the windows closed the room wasn’t too warm (wasn’t cool but sleepable). Excellent cooked breakfast and a nice buffet area to help yourself to cold items. Nice also to have access to communal areas/garden too if you want to get out of the room. Two nearby pubs in walking distance. Axbridge has two pubs a short drive away. Would certainly stay again. Top BnB!

Lovely chilled nights stay at the Old Manor House after a hard days work. Perfect location if you want to visit cheddar gorge. Plus a nice convenient pub across the road for an evening meal and a couple of pints. Freshly cooked Breakfast the next morning was lovely. I will certainly stay here again in future as I could fault it in any way!

The accommodation was smart, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was of excellent quality, freshly cooked, hot and tailored to whatever were required. The sitting rooms had hot drinks available and provided a comfortable space to relax. I can’t praise the Old Manor House highly enough.

I couldn’t fault a thing from checkin, to the room, to breakfast. It was 5* accommodation and treatment.

Host was absolutely excellent, very friendly and helpful. Venue is beautiful and spacious and has that home feel. Would definitely recommend coming if you’re in the area!

Graham met us on arrival at the Old Manor House and helped us set up the EV charging for our car. A bit easier than feeding the horses when this was the Kings Arms Coaching Inn and an important stage coach stop. We were very pleased to discover that the old Inn has been expertly converted into a very comfortable B&B without spoiling its 400 year old charm and nature. Although it is close to the road, any traffic noise is kept to a minimum by the carefully constructed secondary windows on the inside of very thick walls. Both windows can be easily opened in various aspects to provide fresh air and there was very little traffic late at night during our stay. The bathroom fittings are all modern and spotlessly clean and there was a large walk in shower in the Purple Room where we stayed. We also slept very well on quality mattresses on both beds. For breakfast there was a large choice fruit, cereals, juices, yogurt, home backed bread and a magnificent selection of Graham's homemade jams and marmalades. The cooked breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of freshly prepared and locally sourced produce. Altogether an excellent place to stay with everything you might need already thought of and provided by Graham.

Such a relaxing overnight stay at the Old Manor House capped off by a delicious breakfast in the morning. Really friendly and relaxed service coupled with a clean and well appointed room made for a perfect stopover on our trip home from Cornwall.
