Food was exceptional. The all inclusive concept has limitations that if you’re used to all inclusive in the Caribbean or even at Paradisus brand it would make nervous…this would make me mark them down especially for the price point paid. Overall a wonderful experience. Love Crete….visited 3 hotels over 11 days but would try another A.I hotel on our next visit as we will certainly be back.

Très bel hôtel à l’architecture impressionnante et aux espaces impeccablement propres. La cuisine est variée et de grande qualité, un vrai point fort du séjour. Quelques points restent perfectibles : chambre non prête à notre arrivée après 19h00, passages fréquents d’avions assez bruyants (couloir aérien juste au-dessus), attente trop longue le matin pour les crêpes (délicieuses), café expresso très décevant pour le français et application disponible uniquement en anglais pas de traduction pour le français, dommage. De petits désagréments techniques également (bruits/forts grincements de la double douche, porte d'entrée à claquer pour se fermer). Literie trop ferme ! Un établissement grandiose, qui gagnerait à accorder plus d’attention au confort et aux détails du quotidien.

Eine rundum tolle Anlage. Poolanlage ist sehr schön. Essen vielfälltig und für jeden was dabei. Wir hatten "All inclusiv" und konnten auch an fünf abenden in den la carte Restaurant essen. Es wird auf Allergien eingegangen. Es gibt jeden Abrnd ein Program. Wer möchte, kann auch direkt ans Stand.

This was a 1 night stay prior to a longer booking, in a basic room. I was also here last year. Don’t be scared of a solo trip, the people are fantastic and you will be made to feel very welcome and not alone. The guests are hit and miss, some are a bit rowdy, some doing photo shoots the whole time but it’s easy to find some quiet space. Most are couples in their 30s. The rooms are soundproofed, I stayed on a top floor and couldn’t hear any neighbours which was a relief, food is fantastic but large portions. All inclusive is a must so that you can relax and let the wonderful people bring you drinks and snacks. I had a wonderful massage to start my trip, and a meal in the lovely Greek restaurant. Outside gym has some really cool equipment. I think the resort is non smoking, which is a relief as many Greek people smoke (there are mostly English people here), there are a lot of vapers. I travel to 5 star hotels for work, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here, they are without exception friendly and helpful and in a resort like this, they make the difference between a 5 star trip and a less decent holiday. I will definitely return next year. I also stayed in the grand bungalow which was easily the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I’d advise anyone to book a swim up room at least, to avoid sunbed wars at the pool.

Stella Island is a beautiful and peaceful resort with a truly premium feel. The rooms were superb, and the design—with pools running throughout—adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The food was consistently excellent, with plenty of variety and top-quality dishes. While the location isn’t ideal for walking to nearby attractions, the resort has everything you need, and taxis to local towns are easy to arrange. Highly recommended for a luxurious, hassle-free getaway.

Beautiful new resort towards the NE side of Crete. Staff was uniformly kind and seemed vested in us having a great time. Spa was absolutely wonderful. A few nits to be aware of. Hotel is rather isolated and the nicer restaurants all close at 930pm and require reservations 24 hours in advance via their app with no same day flexibility. Also despite being next to the sea, there is no hotel beach club or chairs and a lot of the landscaping even blocks the sea views. Price was a little high considering no beach and need to take taxis to go anywhere off property.

Wonderful room, helpful and attentive staff and incredible food!

From the first minute, we walked into the front doors we were cared for like none other. The staff was super friendly and very hospitable. The dining options were very good. Lots of different options. We only booked a two nights stay. I wish it was a seven nights stay. I will definitely be returning in the future. The only knock I would give this place is we had ants in our room… 9.5/10 stay.

1300$ for a 290 square foot room, smelly, worse than a 2 star hotel , no bathrobe, no luggage stand, grey ripped towels. We get the all inclusive but dont get fooled....is not we got charge for wine . The food is bad and the resort is in the middle of nowhere....very boring stay(one day) Maybe a 3 star hotel with no beach just a pool. Bigest booking mistake I ever did.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The a la carte dining options are incredible with 5 restaurants to choose from, all offering very different cuisine. The cocktails are made fresh and are excellent quality. There is an outdoor gym for CrossFit style training and a well equipped indoor gym. The room was excellent - we had the premium swim up. Our deck was in the shade most of the day which may bother some people, but we were happy to use it as a break from the sun. And there are plenty of sun loungers available. The resort felt spacious and quiet despite being fully booked. Staff are very attentive and friendly. If we had to be constructive, one criticism would be the buffet - we enjoyed the breakfast. Lunch and dinner are ok, but the variety isn't huge and quality was hit or miss. However, there are several restaurant options for lunch as well where the food is guaranteed to be great. We will definitely be going back, it's an excellent resort for couples.

Great hotel with an amazing staff great service

We stayed at Stella Island for 6 days and in that time, we had an absolutely Stella-r time! I don’t even know where to start, the views are spectacular, the food is Michelin-star level, and the staff are professional and kind. We stayed in Premium Suite with a balcony. Somehow this resort is only a 3-star on Expedia, which makes no sense to us. If there were such a thing as a 6-star resort I would rank Stella Island as such. We’ve travelled far and wide and this is by far the nicest resort we have ever stayed at. We’d like to call out 2 staff members in particular for their service: George who worked at Makuti - probably the nicest person we’ve ever met. He was kind, courteous, and his level of service went above and beyond. He made our experience truly special both times we were there. Kleidi who was serving us at the pool - Kleidi took the time to get to know us, and we exchanged a few stories about where we are from, and our love of football. He was super kind and friendly, and it was a joy to have him take care of us. Overall, we can’t recommend Stella Island enough. We are already looking to plan our return all the way from Canada soon!

äusserst zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service. Auf alle Bedürfnisse wird eingegangen. Essen ist top, bis auf ein restaurant, was eher unterdurchschnittlich war. Möglichkeit für Tennis und Paddle inkl Coach - sehr kuul. unser Vibe war die Anlage aber nicht. An gewissen Orten ab 10.00 Uhr BumBum Musik, zwischen 18-20 kurz Pause und danach hört mans wieder teils bis Mitternacht. vielen scheints zu gefallen im Stil von Gym, Tan, Food… sie hatten uns freundlicherweise in eine ruhigere Zone versetzt. ich werde künftig aber wieder Boutique Hotels vorziehen.
