Happy to have an upgrade. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable.

I booked a Club Deluxe room which was nice and spacious. I know that the bath and shower are inside the bedroom with no walls before I booked and thought thats fine as I was staying by myself anyways.

There was a loud wedding and my room was over the outside area and by the stairs so the noise of the DJ was over bearing and interrupted sleep. We booked this hotel as a hotel - ie to have a nice room to sleep, which was not possible. The air con was also barely functioning so it was very warm on the room. I would not stay here again for fear of more parties. I am unsure why we were not allocated rooms away from the noise

An excellently located hotel with great staff and a lovely ambiance

Parking was small but available. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was well presented and clean.

The room itself was uncomfortably small and made worse by poor design. The room had a wall through it with a long narrow area at one side which was of no practical use except to house all the powerpoints, thus making it impossible to use electrical devices in the main part of the room. Despite the excessive heat the room had not been cooled and we were given a fan which when plugged in would not stretch into the bed area. All in all an uncomfortable stay.

Was lucky to bid on a room upgrade, so had a huge room, but the lift was out of order, so had to carry bags to second floor, which wasn't very convenient. The Guinness in cans wasn't our best decision either. Breakfast was very nice, and parking is very convenient.

Booked the stay last minute for the Jazz Festival,and so glad we chose Malmaison. Alex at the front desk was fantastic,friendly and very welcoming and we were also able to park in the underground garage. We stayed in a Club deluxe room which was amazing,overall couldn’t fault anything,this hotel will now be our go to hotel in Cheltenham.

The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the hotel in general. Our only disappointment was the standard of service at breakfast; whilst the food was excellent the service left a bit to be desired and the waitress was thoroughly miserable. She appeared to focus on table cleaning around us rather than being attentive to guests’ needs. Thankfully our breakfast was not contaminated by the cleaning fluid that she was using at an adjacent table.
