Most importantly this is not a hotel, it is an apartment building. We paid a lot during an event, and were severely disappointed at service and ammenties. There was no one for reception for check in, no visitor parking bays, and we were provided a single building key. The room was missing soap in one bathroom and had a broken towel rack. The pool area is small and uninviting.

Amazing apartment I street back from the ocean. Lota of cafes and places to eat downstairs and a few minutes walk. Reception was amazing and staff were very helpful and organised a late check out for us free of charge. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Beds were very comfortable. We were allocated 1 parking bay. The only strange thing was the position of the toilet in the ensuite bathroom. It was position facing a wall which gave limited space. We are of average height but would not of been good if you were tall. The main bathroom was fine.

We absolutely loved our stay at First Light. It is situated at a perfect place, within walking distance to shopping area, restaurants, beach and supermarket. We also had the perfect room which looked straight out over the beach. Would definitely stay here again

WiFi did not work. So the TV did not work. Not great for staying with children

Great location and walking distance to all restaurants, shops and beach. Spacious apartment with balcony and was well equipped. We had a few issues with a terrible smell coming up from drains in bathrooms- reported it to reception and they sent someone to fix that day, however after 24hrs, the smell came back. We also had issues with getting the tv to work, again reported to reception and they fixed, but we were unable to get any local channels the entire stay. Cleaning could have been better, pistachio nut under bed on arrival and fluff on floor. Also found that doors were a little grotty and mirrors still had finger prints on them. There is no servicing to apartment, so if you have a longer stay, you will need to wash your towels.

The room was spacious. Washer dryer was a blessing after spending days at the beach. 2 minute walk to the beach.

Check in was great and the team brilliant, location was perfect. The apartment itself was dated and a little dirty. Some odd smells coming out of the carpets (damp) and from behind the fridge. One shower was unusable due to broken shower head and the towels were stained and burn marked. We tried to speak to reception but as it was public holiday weekend the desk was always closed. All in all it was ok, but I dont think we will back any time soon.

The air conditioning wasn't working-all three units. Ceiling fan not working, we were left a portable air conditioning that was put in the corner of the room with no directions. The room profile showed a view-there wasn't one! We booked for two nights but only stayed one due to the disappointment.

The fridge handle kept coming off when trying to open it. Got a huge dong on my head from it. You may need to look at it to find out what is happening. Main bedroom handle is loose.

We had a nice stay. Apartment was smaller than expected and the toaster did not work. Otherwise great place to stay.

This property was clean, updated and had all the necessary things needed for a self contained unit. I was very happy staying here.

It was easy to access, conveniently located and staff were friendly
