The hotel has a bar but very very limited choice. The room was ok but under the bed, shower, loo brush and other bits dirty. If you rolled over in bed do did your partner. The view was fantastic as was location and lady in evening very helpful finding us restaurants

The owner was amazing, fantastic historian of the area and WW2 museum in the lobby soooo intersting to talk too. Will be back one day.

The knowledge of the owner of history of the area which is what we came for. He saw on our booking we’re from New Zealand and made sure to give us a room with a view of the Abbey Mementos and pictures of the ww2 times everywhere

La camera era in pessime condizioni. Il bagno era pieno di muffa, la cornice della porta stava cadendo, ruggine sui metalli… davvero pietoso.

Very good location if you going to visit Montecasino. Nice staff. Very small parking lot but you cane leave your car on a safe street. You can feel history at this place.

Quite pleased with our stay here. Excellent location for visiting Monte Cassino.

We were on the fourth floor. The elevator was not working during our entire stay. My mother is 94 years old and this caused her great difficulty.

There is frequent curbside parking for free. A ton of restaurants, pizzarias, and gelaterias in walking distance. The staff is prompt, courteous, and speaks English. Be forewarned, you need a reservation (prenotazione) for most sit down dining establishments. This hotel also has a lot of books and historic artifacts relating to the 1944 battle for the town and abbey.

struttura vecchia che necessiterebbe di una completa e profonda ristrutturazione. quando siamo arrivati la stanza era caldissima e nonostante avessimo lasciato l'aria condizionata accesa il tempo della cena al nostro ritorno era ancora molto caldo e abbiamo dovuto lasciarla accesa durante la notte. suggerisco, almeno per le prenotazioni, di fare trovare la stanza climatizzata.

The best part of staying at La Pace was that Pino (owner) is also the most knowledgeable person in Cassino about the critical significance of the WW II Montecassino battles. He was our guide for a whole day telling us stories and showing us hidden places along an amazing hike where we got to see many Polish historic places. We highly recommend staying here and meeting Pino.

Hotel La Pace was excellent. Great room, with a great staff that was friendly and helpful. They also recommended an amazing place to eat.

Did not get room that was listed overpriced extremely noisy run down and dirty And the hotel was listed as a 9 rating I don’t understand how Expedia can let this happen very disappointed
