Amazing spacious rooms and the staff was friendly.

Absolutely gorgeous property. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Everything is impeccable; the bed is comfortable. The staff is prompt and efficient. We tried different restaurants in the property and everything was delicious, both food and cocktails! The area is very walkable and safe. You can easily reach the historic center in about 15-17 minutes, walking leisurely. Great views from the rooftop! Our only "negative" comment is that our room was very hot, even with the air conditioner - which was supposedly at max, but wasn't really cooling the room. At night, it was easier to open the windows to reach a comfortable temperature. During the day that was just not feasible. It's only April, so I assume the room would get even hotter in the summer. Puebla didn't normally reach such hight temperatures, but with climate change, Banyan Tree might need to invest in a better cooling system. Other than that, we'd absolutely return - but maybe only in the winter months. 😉

El servicio no estuvo al nivel de un hotel Michelin key

El hotel usa la marca "Banyan Tree" y los que hemos tenido la oportunidad de ir a un Banyan Tree mayakoba por ejemplo, este hotel en puebla no le hace el honor a la marca. El hotel tiene muchos detalles negativos: 1. Compras una habitacion junior suite y son las habitaciones mas ruidosas del hotel porque dan a una calle con mucho paso de autos a toda hora y no coinciden con las fotos en expedia 2. Las toallas estan deshiladas, viejas y percudidas 3. En la habitacion NO hay secadora de cabello hay que pedirla 4. La limpieza de la habitacion no es buena, en la mia habia una pantufla debajo de un sillon y algunos pelos en el piso 5. El buffete no tiene la calidad que se espera de un banyan tree, tuvimos la mala suerte que en el primer desayuno el cafe estuviera acido y frio, el pan es malo, y el buffete digamos que es mediocre 6. El aire acondicionado aunque tiene un control en la habitacion , no puedes controlar la temperatura ni el apagado del mismo...esto sucede en muchos hoteles pero no en los banyan tree Cosas buenas: valet parking, el personal del restaurante se reinvento bien despues de las quejas, el complejo es bonito pero todos los puntos anteriores hacen que para la siguiente no regresemos
