Lovely old pub attached to the accommodation, which was real old time friendly pub. The accommodation was very poor, don’t think it has been updated since the 70s. Such a shame as it has a lot of potential. Very cold, tv was poor, and bed was very hard

Really good value for money. Ideally located for Heaphy track and Oparara Arches. The pub was great for a drink and dinner. Could do with an upgrade to the shower as it made the entire bathroom wet.

Wonderful family trip. The area had some great hikes and the food at the hotel pub was really good. We ate there both nights and were all happy! Would stay there again.

A great apartment for 4 of us doing the Heaphy. Good pub food, super friendly people, left our car while on track. Easy place to start from

A nice character older hotel. Our unit was spacious but not the latest in decor. What we really liked was our meal - good value and presented promptly and tasted divine

Post Heaphy Track accommodation. Great staff and fantastic pub. Accommodation was clean with lovely garden outlook, although dated.

Very convenient spot as logistics stop for the Heaphy Track. Great pub and recommend the whitebait fritters! Motel room clean and comfortable.
