Room had black looking mold in shower around door and base as well as on ceiling in shower. No outlet by one of the night stand. Unable to obtain Wi-Fi on 3rd floor in room

This is our second stay at the Firth Hotel and really enjoyed it again. The rates are very competitive and cheerful as well as not breaking the bank are massive pluses. The rooms are clean, lovely sea view, very quiet, staff make check in easy. It's peaceful and a lovely staycation destination. Rooms despite being budget have a fan and a fridge as well as hairdryer, iron and decent pillows. The Smugglers bar is not far away with comfy seats and friendly locals and reasonable drink and food prices. For the price we paid, thought it was good value, good accommodation, good location, good staff and good experience. Will be back and thanks for having us.

Lovely room with a sea view. Tea. coffee etc with a small fridge in the room. Roast dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Had to pay for breakfast. Walk over the road to beach. Bed very comfortable.

Evening meal in restaurant was very good. Room itself was basic but clean. Fridge was a nice extra. Seaview was amazing. All staff we spoke to were very friendly, especially house keeping. Shower was very poor, hardly any water pressure.

To begin with, staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was right across the beach, was lucky to be there when the heatwave hit, so the location was great for me. The room (no 5) was cosy, had a fan and a fridge and both have been welcomed. Nice toiletries, from my favourite brand. The room was clean, bed was somewhat comfortable, I like hard mattresses. 😅 The room got quite hot when outside were 29 degrees, but the fan did its job. I didn't have breakfast, I don't usually do, but I did have fish and chips and a glass of wine. The fish was fresh and the batter was amazing. I stayed 2 extra nights and again, staff was accommodating, gave me fresh towels and more milk at my request. The price of the room was low at that time and considering the location, it was a bargain. I enjoyed my stay here and I would book again. 😊

Hotel really well located for amenities and a brilliant sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. On street parking limited on Saturday. Hallway areas looking pretty run down and main door for hotel guests was broken so open all night. Bit of a safety risk. Sat down for breakfast and then we were forgotten about. It took 20 mins before I got up and asked a girl who was mopping the floors if we could order. Another 25 mins for the breakfast to arrive. When it arrived it was ok but nothing special. No courtesy check, all staff disappeared, no one to hand our key to so ending up leaving it on the reception desk and leaving. More staff needed. Overall wouldn’t come back.

Fantastic location room comfy and very clean Staff very helpful & friendly.

I stayed here for a week and I was happy with what we got for the price we paid. The staff from the lady checking us in to the cleaners we spoke to, were all really nice. The room was comfortable and clean but my only issue ws the shower. It was a little mouldy at the bottom and the pressure wasn't great. It did the job though and I would stay again. Thank you

I have stayed in the Firth hotel several times, never any complaints, always clean, everything you need is in the room, nice bar and restaurant downstairs. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here on a visit to Lossiemouth and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel is directly opposing the scenic beach and easily accessible. The staff were delightful and accommodating to our minimal needs. The room was spacious, clean and offers a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to have a sea view, which was idyllic. Breakfast was at an extra charge but was delicious and set us up for the day ahead. I cannot fault this place and we highly recommend for anyone that wants to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil time away in such a beautiful location.

A perfectly comfortable room with a great view of the coast. The hotel runs more like a self serve holiday rental with no “hotel staff” to speak of.

Amazing view, one of the best in Scotland. Clean with excellent staff. Second floor not recommended for those with mobility issues. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would go back tomorrow if it hadn’t already been booked up

Excellent well-equipped ensuite room with beautiful view of the beach and sea. Very clean and very quiet. Located on seafront near amenities and attractions. Highly recommended

Checked in fine, room was small, a sink in the middle of the units so not much room to put anything on them. No bedside unit/shelf at one side of bed, bed was comfortable though. Tiny shower room with toilet ( no sink in there) found a few public hairs in the bottom of the shower!! Waited a long time for drinks at supper, i think we were forgotten about?Waited nearly an hour for our food, food was excellent couldn't fault it at all no surprise the restaurant is popular.

It was clean and tidy. Ideal for overnight stay before a race the following day. The plumbing was a bit loud but it seems like an old building so to be expected
