Only 4 stars, as the description of the property varies wildly between sites. The name is either Havarí Hostel or Bráz Hostel, they might or might not have breakfast included (we didn't find any), and they might or might not have laundry services (we also couldn't find this). Rooms, bedding, and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-organized.

Nice facility - clean and comfy, nice open community eating tables...but small kitchen. Co-ed private shower area. Was very difficult for us to find - there had been some road closures so it through our route (both GPS and google maps) off...this place is 30 minutes outside (north) of Djupivogur - which made it very confusing to find.

The accommodation is very basic, although clean and adequate for a stop over. It is very isolated, closest restaurant was over 30 min drive away and the on-sight cafe closes at 4pm so make sure you eat before you arrive or prepare to survive on granola bars for the night like me.
