Personligt och med både humor och enastående charm blev vi omhändertagna av husets ägare. Frukost serverad i matsal med vita servetter i form av franska liljan. Rekommendationer kring restauranger promenadvägar och sightseeing kom i god tid. Skall definitivt återkomma om vi tar oss an Bath igen.

We stayed at Grosvenor Villa for two nights during our visit to Bath and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation was very comfortable, and Richard proved to be an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and full of helpful suggestions about places to visit. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The villa itself carries a fascinating history, brought to life through Richard’s intriguing stories, making it a destination worth visiting in its own right. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Grosvenor Villa.

Fuldstændig vidunderligt og stemningsfyldt ophold med den mest charmerende og imødekommende vært. Meget smukt og stemningsfyldt indrettet, vidunderlig spisestue, hvor den blide jazz sætter stemningen i den smukke stue og den skønne morgenmad , alt sammen krydret med sjove og charmerende anekdoter fra værtens liv. Vi elskede hvert et minut og vil helt sikkert vende tilbage. Beliggenheden ind til centrum af Bath er en skøn gåtur langs floden og selve Byen er også en smuk oplevelse, som er svær at få nok af.

Wonderful stay at Grosvenor Villa, the host Richard was a lovely host who gave us some very helpful tips on Bath. Elegant room with tea, biscuits and free red wine. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We can really recommend staying at Grosvenor Villa, for a most memorable stay.

The Grosvenor Villa is an amazing building with a lovely garden. The Pride and Prejudice room was great, spacious, clean and we loved the extra touches (wine, bath robes). The riverside walk to the centre took about 20 minutes and through Sydney gardens. Breakfast room was unique and the continental breakfast was delicious. The owner Richard was very helpful and friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the area and the house.

Richard was a wonderful host from beginning to departure. The room was a splendid travel back in history yet all the touches needed for a modern trip away. Thank you Richard for allowing us to share your wonderful home .

A hidden gem in Bath! This house is so interesting and beautiful. The host is gracious and kind. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night.

We had a wonderful time. We’d highly recommend. The bed was very comfortable. There was wine, cookies, coffee & tea in the room each day. The room was cozily decorated. The bathroom was large, and the tub wonderful. Richard the host was fabulous! So entertaining and charming. The continental breakfast was sumptuous, with many choices including wonderful porridge. We recommend staying here if you are visiting Bath.

This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Bath. *The only note I would say is not suitable for anyone who can’t walk a lot of stairs*

This was a lovely experience with a wonderful taste of England. The breakfast that was included was wonderful. A beautiful array of fruit, danish, yogurt and other wonderful options. Well run by a friendly and interesting gentleman.

Lovely old building, exactly as described. Really friendly knowledgeable host. 20 minute scenic walk to town and frequent busses right outside the building. I would happily stay again and recommend. Nothing to grumble about.

Really lovely place, very well looked after and the man who runs it is a really nice happy guy. We only stayed for 1 night but we stay longer next time.

Pristine rooms , a warm reception and a breakfast room that takes you 200 years back in time. 100% recommended . You’re missing out if you’re in Bath and not staying here!
