Both the bedroom and bathroom are spacious and clean. Breakfast was a wonderful experience: beautiful English tableware, generous supply of both continental and English breakfast, and I like Andy's cooking especially. We can use the washing machine, and Andy helped us with our laundry. Wifi is strong. For those who don't drive, the place is just a few minutes' walk from the train station where you can take the underground too. For those who are not familiar with the transportation in London, pls note that you don't have to take the railway to Wimbledon. You can take the underground all the way from Heathrow or Liverpool Street Station. This can cut down the cost a lot. I will definitely stay in Goodenough Guesthouse next time I visit London.

Andy was unassuming and gracious. He was a good host and makes a great breakfast!

No air conditioning, house was set up to keep warm, no thought to comfort during heat wave. Had to climb stairs with luggage. No electric outlet in bathroom for women to use curling iron etc. Hosts were great! Overall, a good place to stay and good value.

Die Betten waren gut. Das Badezimmer zum Dreibettzimmer war sehr groß mit Badewanne, Dusche, Bidet und WC. Frühstück war gut und wurde zur gewünschten Zeit zubereitet. Bei 30 Grad war es unter dem Dach sehr warm, aber es gab Ventilatoren und man konnte nachts das Dachfenster aufmachen.

Andy was very welcoming and the property was in a great location, close to transportation and restaurants.

Very nice guesthouse, great room, great private bathroom (not ensuite). Great, freshly cooked breakfast every morning. Wimbledon is very well connected to the London city center. Already recommnded the Goodenough Guesthouse to friends.

Public transport connections are excellent, with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The host was very welcoming. My room was very clean and spacious with a double bed and a single. Would definitely return if in the area 😊

Nice property

We were greeted by the owner at the door and welcomed. The house was lovely and warm, comfortable looking and welcoming. We were shown to our room. We had the “back room” which was spotlessly clean, bright and comfy. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and fresh milk in a fridge. Bathroom was lovely with plenty of hot water and was next door to our room for our private use. We had a full English breakfast cooked for us and Andy made it fresh asking what we wanted. Plenty of toast, tea and cereals, too. Fresh orange juice to start and toast to munch on with jam whilst we waited for the main breakfast. Andy was very friendly and helpful. Parking is in a private space so should not be a problem. We used the train to travel into the city which was less than 10 minute walk. Would we use here again …. Definitely

Thanks to Andy I arrived at the company dry because he gave me a lift that stormy morning. I really enjoyed my stay at this guest house and the breakfast was welcome each morning.
