A commercial building converted into a 6 room “hotel” just to capitalize on Seoul’s high demand for hotel rooms. 5 Reasons why you should Stay-Away from this “hotel”: (1) A death trap awaits to happen – a converted commercial building constructed without an escape exit in the event of fire (a fire hazard risk due to the relatively compact building where all electrical devices and wiring are placed in a relatively tied spaces); (2) The steps are steep and narrow (a potential bone-braking accident awaits to happen to practically any person of all ages – can’t imagine the collateral damages should an elderly person and a child were to fall); (3) a potential high risk of a back injury especially for those with heavy suitcases going up and down the steep and narrow stair-case; (4) a potential security risk of a break-in to guest rooms awaiting to happen as there is no security door separating the public café and the stair-case leading to the guest rooms; and (5) a high probability of health risk as the bathroom drainage emits foul odors.

the location is great. nearby namdaemun market, seoul 7107. if you walk within 10 min, you may reach myeongdong. from there, you may go to namsam tower. the room is big and clean but the big issue is we need to climb stair to our room. it was the highest level. difficult for me and mu sister to bring our luggage.
