房間沒有景觀,床是用兩張單人床拼湊成的,但早餐豐盛好吃,用餐區景觀絕佳

In einer Höhle zu übernachten mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick war wirklich was besonderes. Man muss halt dennoch bedenken, daß es eine Höhle ist und anders als ein Standard Hotelzimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of cold foods, coffee, tea etc. The room was very spacious with a fridge and TV. There was no safe available in the room. The bathroom had both a bath and excellent shower. One thing we didn't like was a window shutter out of reach on a string to open and close. However it didn't close properly so the sunlight came into the room very early. When you are not a great sleeper anyway this was disappointing. There is a bar in the hotel which closed early but a member of staff got some drinks for us when requested

Need better or new air condioners

L’hotel si trova nel centro storico all’Interno della zona dei sassi. Comodo per visitare la città. Camera piccola e arredi minimal. La tv non funzionava e il Wi-Fi era lento. Colazione ottima e personale gentile

A pousada é incrível, tem uma vista da cidade maravilhosa, o café da manhã excelente. O único inconveniente é que não dava para regular a temperatura do ar condicionado e o quarto estava extremamente quente

Super Terrasse. Praktisch gelegen. Für Italien gutes Frühstück mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Warm am Morgen, kühl am Abend mit Blick auf die in den roten Abend Sonnenstrahlen untergehenden Sonne. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert

Everything was fine except two details: 1. room did not have a window and 2. we had two small beds instead of a two-persons one. Strongly recommended however, great location and great people

Staying in the heart of the Sassi in Matera was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Being surrounded by such ancient history, carved into the rock, makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another time. The atmosphere is simply magical—especially in the early morning and at night, when everything is quiet and beautifully lit. Waking up in the middle of the Sassi is something very special that I would recommend to anyone visiting Matera. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-prepared, blending modern amenities with the charm and authenticity of the historic setting. It’s not just a place to stay, but part of the entire Matera experience. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying in the Sassi if you want something truly different and memorable.

Perfect location if you are driving. You can park out of the ZLT and walk 5-10min to the hotel without having to go up and down the hill. The views from my room were unreal and the receptionist Vivian was super nice with her recommendations

For a memorable night or weekend, this is an exceptional place to stay. Close to the town centre and with breathtaking views over Matera, it's well worth a visit. The room was clean, spacious and very stylish. We only suffered from the air conditioning which didn't seem to work and cool the whole room, while it was extremely hot during our stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The person pointed out places to see and walk around Matera with very valuable local insights and for which we are grateful.

If you’re looking to stay in the heart of the Historic Center, this is your place. Be prepared to walk over rocky roads and go up and down the road stairs, which is not bad if you want to exercise a little bit while vacationing. Room was a little too small for my taste but very clean and comfortable. View from my room window was incredible! Hotel doesn’t offer parking (paid or free). You need to find a paid parking spot on the nearby streets (around $10 Euros for 10 hours). Breakfast was good.

It was a unique experience to sleep in a cave. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great.
