the hotel it's really in heart of everywhere... near mall also.. everything it's excellent, but only concern in restaurant, the meal selection not to much for bfast and also they cut really small pieces 1 pastry bread for 8 small portion, and for the omelette station it little chaos, because when u order and tell the chef to come back to pick up you order, the chef make the new order for the person who standing there, and my experience the giving first the order to crew and not for guest first.. but overall it's all good.. I spend 2 days in the hotel

Rooms are spacious. Although I requested for a large queen bed since I am alone, the room has two single bed. Breakfast was okay.

This is my first time to stay at Big Hotel. As usual, there are pros and cons. For the positive ones, I like that the room was so big considering the affordable price. My room was upgraded to Business Suite instead of the Executive Room for free. There’s a dining table, sofabed, and a very long study table. Second, I like that it comes with a little kitchen and walk-in closet. Third, the hotel is strategically located near Parkmall, City Square and renowned hospitals in Cebu. It’s also about 20-25 minutes to the airport. Fourth, the bathroom is clean and the water flow is strong. Lastly, the breakfast that comes along with the booking is also okay (since I’m not really choosy with my food). As for the negative ones, they are indeed strict when it comes to their check-in time. 2 PM IS 2 PM. So I had to roam around the mall first and wait for the check-in time. Second, wi-fi connectivity is really bad anywhere in the hotel. Third, there is only one functioning elevator. Despite this, I still recommend this hotel for those who love big rooms in an affordable price.

Too bad wifi. Service bad I need to change tower because I wake up in afternoon. I call to the housekeeper. He told to wait a minute. At last he not come. Air conditioner louder. Hard to sleep. With the price I pay for this room, is bad.

Value for money without compromising cleanliness. Clean and white sheets. Accessible location. Good to know their bar/resto is open 24/7. I suggest to provide heater/kettle for every room, for us to have hot water without requesting it from the housekeeping. Thanks

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. The restaurant staff were just lovely and the food was amazing I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I had an excellent stay at Big Hotel. Thanks to Traveloka, I was able to book Big Hotel's Executive Room at only 1799 per night. It was such a steal! The room was definitely BIG, it had everything I need--a comfy bed, a TV, phone, a nice lounge chair, working desk, toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, hangers, and even a balcony. Breakfast was delicious and had just the right number of choices. The location is perfect--you could take a MyBus from the airport and get off at Big Hotel. I also love how it's in front of ParkMall. The yummy Cebu lechon restaurant in front of the hotel is amazing! To say it has great value for money is an understatement. If there's anything I could suggest, it would be for the front desk staff to be a bit more accommodating. The housekeeping staff were all super nice, though. Just had minor hiccups with the front desk people on the phone when I tried booking a massage sesh. Nonetheless, I will definitely stay in Big Hotel again the next time I visit Cebu.

I do not recommend this hotel due to the following reasons: 1. Check in - I went there 1:30 pm to check in but the receptionist told me that their check in time is strictly 2 pm. I waited since it really shows in the voucher that check in time is 2 pm. It was already 2:05 when I went back to the receptionist and asked them to have me checked in already. They said they are not yet done cleaning the room. I booked business suite and that is the most expensive room. It's not my f***ing problem if the room is not yet cleaned. They should have known that check in time is really 2 pm. I was able to go to my room around 2:30. Fucking 30 minutes was wasted, I still need to do my makeup at that time because I have an event to attend to. No compensation was given for the inconvenience. 2. Receptionist - have been giving me a grumpy face throughout the entire check in process. If you don't like your job, please resign! 3. Wifi - it never worked throughout my stay in the hotel. 4. Business suite inclusions - towels were dirty, no safe box, no refrigerator. How can you even call that a suite? Please find another hotel than booking this one!

We loved our stay! We felt very comfortable, safe, and it was very clean. The location was great, too. We just loved every minute of our visit.

Check-in took longer than expected and faucet on the sink did not work at all, we had to use the shower faucet. However it was an overall pleasant-ish experience because of the location, accessibility to various locations and the room type.
