My stay at the guest house was satisfactory. I stayed in two different rooms and both were generally clean. Both rooms have fast wifi, big and comfortable beds, cold AC, television, refrigerator, hot shower, towels, small cabinet with hangers, and toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and toilet paper. Free breakfast was very basic. I booked a Halong Bay tour with them but it's better if you compare their offer price-wise with that of other travel agencies before deciding. The guest house is within the Old Quarter and you can walk to some of the tourist attractions nearby. Going to the guest house may be tough for the first time as it is located on a narrow alley that you might think is a dead end. Best to use offline maps. The staff was mainly pleasant. I would like to specifically commend Lucy for being accommodating. She's very nice, efficient, and has a good command of English unlike the others who, when you ask a question, couldn't answer or would say, "I don't know." It's frustrating when you get a reply like that since they are there to be of assistance to the guests who are mostly foreigners. Overall, I would recommend staying in this guest house.
