It was absolutely amazing to stay in this lovely hotel! The staff is so friendly and helpful! Cats are all adorable and friendly also! Also, they have coffee/tea and a nice breakfast for guests for free!

The staff, excellent! They know you by your name, they give a bunch of information to enhance our stay at Penang, they also provide you name it, face mask, lotion, pencil, etc. They provide snacks and breakfast all different everyday, they also have really cute cats, so our stay there really feels like home, superb!

Tempatnya bagus banget. Staff-nya ramah, baik, dan sangat membantu. Lokasi sangat strategis banget untuk sekitar Georgetown. Dekat dengan transportasi umum, restoran halal Kapitan 24 jam, mesjid. Gratis sarapan, jus di kulkas, kopi, teh, cookies, bahkan buah. Tak lupa 2 kucing yang super ramah yang bikin gak tahan untuk dibelai😁, si hitam dan si Oren Garfield chubby. Mudah-mudahan bisa menginap di sini lagi pas ke Penang berikutnya.

This hotel is located in the George Town area. It is very strategic for those who want to explore George Town on foot, reach the bus terminal (Weld Quay), or access the ferry terminal. There is an Indian restaurant just across the street, but I found it difficult to locate a 7-Eleven in the surrounding area. This place is a homestay, so expect to share bathrooms and toilets. It is an old but well-maintained house, you need to walk slowly to avoid noise from the floor. The host is very helpful! You can ask for recommendations for your travels in Penang. Additionally, he provides a simple breakfast for the guests. I am grateful to the host for accommodating my late check-in (I checked in at 10 pm). Inside the room, there are several tourist reading materials, such as locations of street arts and food recommendations. If cats are a concern for you, it's worth noting that there are cats inside the house. One of them managed to enter my room, and I had to lure it out using food as bait. This homestay is suitable for those looking for a strategic location and don't mind sharing bathrooms with other guests.

Very good place to stay in Penang. The owers Howie and Amit were very friendly and helpful, they gave us many infomation to explore this island. The cats was so cute as well. Rooms were clean. Highly recommend 👍

It is comfortable to sleep and play with cats here. The owner very friendly, always prepare breakfast for us. The cats also friendly, one is very fat, and another is very active.

I decided to stay at Cocoa Mew because I read all the good reviews about the owner there. ((). He was so helpful and showed some of the best hospitality for an owner. He gets 5 Stars. This is the first time I have ever stayed in a hostel type hotel (because I am an older traveler) It was a good experience and I enjoyed talking the the younger travelers. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed, good AC and WiFi. The kitchen had pastries and bread for toast for breakfast etc. I could have my coffee there without going outside. Also. I usually stay at more expensive hotels but Howie showed that less can be more. I recommend Cocao Mews for a inexpensive stay in Georgetown.

Hotel strategis, mas azharnya ramah banget, helpful, lebih suka kamar mandi lantai 1 karena yang lantai 2 kurang bersih. Di aplikasi tidak ada sarapan tapi sesungguhnya tiap pagi melimpah makanan, air juga disediain. pokoknya mantaplah. Terasa menginap di rumah nenek.
