Great stay amd experience would definitely stay again but longer this time amd dinner was delightful

Right by the ocean.. Visited during the heat wave but there was a table fan which saved life

This is a lovely hotel with a pleasant, relaxed vibe and friendly staff. The drinks and dining area seemed popular. The hotel overlooks the Bandstand so if you're lucky you'll get a free show. Having a fan supplied in the room was a godsend as it got very hot and stuffy, but in mid summer not much can be done about that.

Groot Victoriaans hotel, netjes maar wel kleine kamer en badkamer en erg warm (ventilator, geen airco, raam met zeezicht kon maar klein stukje open). Ontbijt in orde. Kiezelstrand aan overkant van de straat, restaurants en winkels op loopafstand. Sfeervol en mooi gelegen maar niet modern. Bushalte voor de deur (oa hop on-hop off).

The room had a room right next to ours , which was conected with a door.... we heard the other family everything they done , even snoring ...

My stay at the cumberland was great right on the beach front. The staff was great very helpful. The single room was very clean and tidy.

Perfect location. Courteous, helpful staff. Basic rooms that are functional but look directly out of the 1980s.

È un albergo rimasto fermo a 40 anni fa. Come mobilio e come strutture comuni. I bagni, ad esempio, sono minuscoli e certe camere hanno le docce con l’entrata a 20 centimetri dal water. Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma un ventilatore e la finestra non si può aprire perché entrano i gabbiani! Però è pulito, il personale è gentile e fa di tutto per mettervi a vostro agio, la sala da pranzo è funzionale e ben arredata, la posizione è ottima, i prezzi sono bassi. Se si scende a compromessi può rappresentare una soluzione.

3 days and room was serviced

Tv'et var for småt. Vi brugte det ikke de 4 dage vi var på hotellet. Sengen var 2 delt,selvom det var et dobbeltværelse. Vi fik ondt i ryggen. Morgenmad var helt fin. Kaffeen var også godt. Lokalerne var herlig gammeldags men velholdt.

Room was extremely clean but room was very hot, little fan in the room but wasn’t much of help. Also no cold water in the shower but overall was a good stay

J'ai grandement apprécié ce séjour. L'hôtel était propre, bien situé, ma chambre semblait rénovée. Et la cerise sur le gâteau : le staff tellement chaleureux. Merci encore 🙏

The staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and drink prices are good. The food is excellent. The only downside was there were no fans in the rooms. The windows opened, due to the heat there was no cool air.

This was an ok place to stay. No one was at reception when we arrived, so we were locked out. And we had a couple of other negative experiences with the staff. The room and breakfast were decent and it’s a nice location.

Our double Seaview room was amazing, very clean and spacious. Dinner in the Sun Lounge, and breakfast in the restaurant was very good also. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable occasion for my Mums 85th birthday. We will definately be returning in the near future.
