We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient.

The hotel was dated and looked tired from the outside and inside. The images online were very misleading and didn't look like the room that was promised. The room itself was very small but the bedsheets and towels were clean. The bathroom was in desperate need of being regrouted and cracked tiles needed to the replaced. The net curtains were dirty with cigarette holes in the them and there was a layer of dust on the valance. Even though the 'quite' times were meant to start at 10pm, we could still the music from the bar area long after this and we were on the 3rd floor. I've stayed in cheaper hotels that were a better standard than this....

Nice economic place to spend 2-3 days. Connectivity and amusements are fantastic from the location.

Requested a bath in rooms. When arrived a there was a small shower in the room. Asked receptionist they checked no bath available in any of the rooms left. Disappointed as my husband is disabled and can't use a shower Room needs a a

The safety of the room needs to be improved urgently. The window next to the children’s beds opened fully and didn’t have a lock to secure it. We kept waking up during the night out of worry in case the children opened it. This is really dangerous and is something we flagged up to the receptionist. The pool water was also very murky and you could barely see whilst swimming which made us question the cleanliness of the water.

Excellent hotel really great atmosphere and when the lift broke they sorted out a different hotel so grandad could continue to enjoy his holiday excellent from them and one of the staff who worked behind the bar was a pleasure And so helpful, highly recommend

Ideal for my short stay by the beach. Lovely breakfast and staff very helpful with my dietary requirements.

I had the warmest of receptions when I checked in and the lounge was full of people having fun with a traditional game of bingo. The well-stocked bar was open and the place exemplified pride everywhere: clean, tidy and guest-centred! The room was wonderful, although the view was nothing spectacular, but exceptionallly clean and tidy and well provisioned. All was going very well until I chose to go to sleep. Alas, the couple in the adjacent room launched into a two-hour copulation session where there was no sound-proofing whatsoever. For the next two hours, I was subjected to animalistic noises and the metronomic beating of their bed on my ajoining wall. Not the fault of the hotel, but rather selfish behaviour from other guests when the walls are paper-thin.

Checked in and was asked what time we’d like breakfast the following morning. We booked in for 9:30am only to be told when we arrived for breakfast that it finishes at 9:30. Thankfully the waiting staff were very understanding once we explained the lady on reception allowed us to booked this time slot. We felt that the lady on reception needed some more customer service training! Have to say, this will be the last time we’ll stay here.

I found the staff lovely but the cleanliness of rooms were poor ground in dust all over grooves of paintwork thick dust stains of coffee all over inside of door pool area floor was green algae under mats showers very dirty in between tiles. The property really does need a good clean that is the only thing that let it down
