The front office provides clinical service at best. They are politely curt, more like robots, with no sense of warmth or hospitality. I stayed for 8 days, and even when I checked out, I was never asked how my stay was. The housekeeping and cleanliness team is top-notch.

The Gate Hotel by Hulic in Ginza is a very good hotel. It is a beautiful modern new hotel with a great view of Ginza area. The location also very strategic as it is located next to Tokyu Plaza Ginza, a great place to find variety of food, starting from basement level (for more casual food) up to upper level (for more upscale restaurants) and also a high end shopping malls. I was staying in their triple rooms which is a very big & comfortable room. The bed size were also bigger than most hotel in Tokyo I believed. The Hotel staff have a very good English, they also help me out to send my big luggages to Osaka, right in their Reception Lobby as my family and I were taking Shinkansen from Tokyo. Definitely The Gate Hotel would by my preferred hotel if I stay in Tokyo again

The best thing about this hotel is its location. There’s a metro station just outside the hotel building’s entrance and it’s strategically located near Ginza5 and other shopping centers. Very friendly staff and clean rooms add the wonderful experience. Price is also reasonable and very much worth the experience that you’ll be getting.

Super love the hotel. The room is spacious enough especially compare to most hotels in tokyo. The bed is big and comfy. The hotel has a modern vibe, no looks old vibe at all. The location is perfect. It’s at the heart of ginza. In front of the hotel is ginza station, walk around 300 meters is yurakucho station. There is also a taxi stand infront of the hotel. You can find anything from premium brand boutique to 24hours restaurant just by walking. This is my 5th time in tokyo and The Gate is the best hotel I’ve stayed. Will come back here for sure.
