Front desk area was so small and crowded.There’s no lobby, no gym, or any other amenities. Room was small and the wall was paper thin. Room cleaning only came one day for the entire 3 night stay. The worst part was the alarm in the hallway went off in the middle of the night (3am) and we called the front desk immediately, but nobody came to fix it until the morning. It went on for hours and kept us up! All we got was an apology note with chocolate. It’s not worth the price and I won’t be returning.

Quiet area, very walkable and convenient to shopping and dining

The check-in was only at 4 PM. The front desk was not informed neither at check-in not at check-out. our Amex card was cancelled because the desk could not identify the vendor ORCL.

We just returned from a wedding on Nantucket, staying at the Faraway property. We loved the "downtown Nantucket" location, helpful and responsive staff, clean and updated rooms, sizable and comfortable courtyard sitting area, and access to bikes, beach towels and chairs, etc. We'd definitely return. Our only complaint would be that we had a loud AC wall unit, and there were sitting chairs right outside our ground floor room window where the same couple would sit or take work calls in the morning, so we'd avoid that room next time.

Loved how central this hotel is. The bikes were an added perk to get around the island. However, we asked for someone to fill up the tires since they were low and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for someone to come outside. The staff was not very friendly or helpful during our stay. My friend was inquiring about the free coffee and instead of the front desk woman helping, she was incredibly sassy and rude saying “I told you it’s over there!” in a mean tone. Overall pretty disappointed with our stay given the good reviews and high hopes we had.

Overall, really nice boutique hotel that I would gladly stay at again. The only "downside" I would say is there wasn't much wiggle room on checkout times. Typically, an 11 am checkout is more than adequate, but sometimes having the ability to get a later checkout is nice. I'm a pilot and wasn't scheduled to depart Nantucket until 6pm, so there was a lot of time spent waiting at the airport. Not a huge issue, and not always applicable, but it would be nice to have a little wiggle room on that. Also, we got charged a resort fee, yet both nights we were there the restaurant was booked for private events, so I wasn't able to participate in the "resort" part of the deal.

Property was beautiful . Staff was friendly and helpful . Amenities such as beach chairs and towels were appreciated . Location was perfect .

Faraway Nantucket was a nice place to stay. Room was very small but clean. The outdoor restaurant/lounge was a nice place to relax, and the indoor bar was happening in the evening. The location is perfect. All shops and restaurants are walkable from the hotel. Great place to stay!

It was difficult to sleep due to window unit type ac. Otherwise, beautiful property.

The staff was very helpful the only issue I had was when I booked I didn’t expect to share a bathroom. A little awkward at first but got over it as the stay went on.

Excellent Establishment!!

Overall, the stay was very disappointing. The facilities are clean and aesthetically appealing, but the service and hospitality were not to expectation. Our first night was restless due to noise coming from a restaurant next door. The staff wasn’t able to remedy the situation so we listened to the banging from next door’s ventilation system all night. At the time, WiFi and the AC weren’t working well either. The problems were fixed by the next night. Additionally, the pictures online are not representative of the rooms. We got a room with minimal natural light and the windows were looking onto the street which meant we didn’t have any privacy. Re the hospitality, every time we asked for something, we were met with an attitude or unhelpful answers. The location is great and convenient, but we won’t be staying here again.

Place looked nice, but staying there was AWFUL. The mattress was outdated and extremely uncomfortable/hard. Every pillow in our room looks nice, but went flat instantly. The hallway was extremely loud with slamming doors all night. The floor above us stomped all night and the walls are paper thing, so we heard every nuance of the neighbors… love making. Needless to say we got zero sleep and got to pay $900 for that. The one positive is the bar area is cool and has extremely friendly bartenders
