The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.

On arrival the staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and well equipped. The evening meal was good as was the breakfast. If we are in the area again we will certainly stay again..

We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again. Staff were all amazing. Couldn’t do enough to help. Housekeeping staff went above and beyond! Food was 10 out of 10… free parking always a bonus. Bed was comfortable. Although noisy with traffic we found it didn’t deter from a good nights sleep.

On checking in the manager made us feel very welcome and showed us to our room. The room was a good size and the bed very comfy. Towels were soft and fluffy and large. There is a lovely welcome tray which included nuts, jelly babies, cookies plus the regular tea and coffee. The evening meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My husband couldn’t make if down to breakfast due to a migraine so the manager organised for a breakfast bap to be cooked and wrapped for him so that on departure we could take it with us and he could have something to eat when he felt better. This was very thoughtful and my husband was very grateful for it later in the day. We would definitely stay here again and walking to the caves and other restaurants is only an 8 minute walk.

Very welcoming. Spotlessly clean throughout. Murray and his team were all lovely and very helpful. Delicious food, both the breakfasts and the evening meals were amazing and plentiful. Good location for Cheddar Gorge and the caves.

Excellent location the Gorge Staff were great the service was fantastic Although the beds were too soft for me my overall experience (food, rooms, location) of the hotel was amazing - I will definitely stay here again

Very nice place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff without exception. Food in general was good, and Sunday lunch was exceptional. Room was comfortable although decor was a little tired. Well situated in Cheddar. Only caveat - the room was at the front and the traffic noise from the road was extremely loud. Earplugs were provided but I struggle to sleep with those things. But I would go back so overall a positive relaxing weekend.

We loved bath arms! Excellent food (Sunday roast, dinner and breakfast all brilliant), really friendly and accommodating staff, rooms nice and spacious and very good location for accessing the gorge and walks etc without worrying about expensive parking! We would definitely come back

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. We didn't notice road noise through the night. The staff were really helpful and breakfast excellent. We also had an evening meal which was fabulous! We'll be back.

Room was clean just needed attention to curtains and curtain poles. Bedding had a rip just little details like that let it down in that department. Staff couldn’t do enough for you very friendly. Food excellent first class. Would recommend 👍
