Our stay was comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel is well positioned overlooking the sea, but the decor was a little faded. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel location is excellent for the beach and only 15 minute walk from the town. Onsite parking was good and the outside area was great for watching out to sea! As with any older hotel, its age is showing and the general fabric of the building good do with some updating. But the staff make up for it! Breakfast had a good range of buffet items and the hot menu extensive.

Clean, great staff, great location and views. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming though. Poor quality ingredients (especially the sausages)

The breakfast was very good, hot and fast. Full English and all the other items on the buffet you could possibly want with very attentive, polite staff.

Pros: - Location (5min from the beach & lovely pavillion gardens, quiet part of town but still only 10min walk to town centre) - Friendly staff Cons: - The building is very outdated, the carpet is old, floors creak and doors slam in the night - There was a waste water pipe right next to my window so I could hear every flush from above throughout the day and night - The view from the window was a flat roof - The breakfast was basic and old-fashioned (e.g. friend bread in the full breakfast, tinned fruit and cereal) If it had cost at least £40 less/night this would have been ok but not for the price paid

Partial sea view better than expected. Quite a small room & en suite but adequate for our one night stay while walking the coast path.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff we really friendly and helpful. Our room was keot spotless with housekeeping coming in daily as requested. The breakfast was 1st class and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection! Would we stay again.....definitely!!

Very friendly staff and a great location close to the sea and the station. Property is a little old and outdated but everything was clean and in working order. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Great location with great sea views. Room was quite small but was perfectly sufficient for our one night stay. Also, very clean and everything needed was available. Breakfast was good value but not well organised. Overall a comfortable stay and we would definitely stay again..

I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly.
