The Golden Tulip, Kampala is a well run hotel, Clean comfortable rooms, excellent staff throughout. DIning was great with a wide choice of options. Breakfast was also excellent.

Very good comfortable stay

The Golden Tulip needs a good revamp. Seems like a tired hotel with stale music playing in lobby. Breakfast was quite sad with limited options and flies on food. Room seemed tired looking again. Good location but hotel needs a major burst of energy pumped back into kt.

It is good

The staff were great and very helpful . The room was ok however only one lift was working during our stay there so it was very inconveniencing especially for people on the upper floors .

One of the elevators was out and so the entire hotel was trying to use one. Also, the air conditioning doesn’t get as cold as other properties. It’s a nice place, but it’s about average for what you would expect

It was a wonderful experience.

The property is clean and well managed. Breakfast is also delicious. There are two aspects that could benefit from improvement: firstly, the receptionists could benefit from training to enhance their customer service and friendliness; and secondly, similar to other services, the gym hours could be extended until 11 pm.

We recently stayed at the golden tulip for two days. The service was impeccable. Transportation, dining and service. All around was wonderful.

Almost everything was perfect except no microwaves oven in the rooms

Lovely hotel with clean modern rooms and very friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. Perfect place to stay whilst in Kampala either as a stop over or longer stay

Great massage go see Helen in the spa. Rooms are small, room service takes long, bad AC. The buffet breakfast is the best choice in Kampala. Would stay again

This is a great property. I have stayed there a number of times and my.past experiences were great. I even turned down offers from higher rated properties. This trip I was unfortunate. My Room AC didn't work properly and the pillows were uncomfortable so i ended up with a pain in the neck
