Hotel staff are helpful and attentive, hotel also offers group purchase for popular taiwanese snacks. Location is not the nearest to the Ximending metro and new visitors may want to look at the signage on the main street if you are lost as lobby is on level 2 The complimentary cold drinks were life saving after the long walk!

The hotel is in a good location in Ximending, from there you can go to famous places quite close and there are also good restaurants and shops and supermarkets around However, after staying at the hotel, I think there are some things that the hotel should review, firstly the drainage in the room I stayed in was quite slow. After taking a shower, the water in the bathtub would overflow onto the floor below the tub and wet the toilet, which was a bit unhygienic secondly the room cleaning, they don't clean every day but will clean if you put a sign in front of the room, however, at first we put a sign but that day it was still not cleaned and until almost the end of the next day it still wasn't cleaned, the next day after going out I had to remind the cleaning staff again and they were very kind and came to clean the room right away, so I think the hotel should have more staff to clean it promptly overall, this is still a good hotel and a reasonable choice if you want to stay near the center of Taipei
