Nice location, near airport (1 stop to the airport, 10 minuets,0.3 OMR) and both way bus stop(walk in 5 minuets). Nice staff, cash or credit card are ok, baggage storage for free after check out, room is ok with soap, shampoo, universal socket, no towel and teeth brush, WiFi signal is ok, but is slow and block LINE app.

Brilliant hotel, convenient for short or long transit. Good wifi. Close to airport and easily accessible by bus. Friendly and helpful staff; they remember us from previous visits. Good restaurant in the hotel and others nearby, plus an excellent supermarket just a few minutes away on foot.

Recpation welcomde very poor there was tea and cup there so I took it and I was charged for it very poor show

Unbelievably dirty. Had to sleep with my jumper and socks to avoid contact. No charging ports, aside from next to the tv. Room is in a very bad state, shower had no hot water.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Savoy Grand in Muscat. It is not grand, but everything works --- AC, fridge and hot water --- the beds are comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful. Only 10-15 mins drive from the airport, there is also a city bus from the airport almost to the hotel door. The Bamboo restaurant next door serves an excellent variety of food, and there's a good supermarket 5 mins up the road.

This hotel is located in a ugly, dusty , industrial , commercial area on the outskirts of Muscat in a majority Indian area.it is far from the downtown. The room was adequate,but very basic. The main problem I had was from the fellow residents making terrible noise untill very late at night: talking, shouting in the hallway, slamming doors.these people have no consideration for those who might be wanting to sleep. It was like that for the entire week I was staying there.you can't really blame a hotel for the behavior of it's guests but still, next time I will go elsewhere. I was tempted by the discount price but I guess that's what happens when you try to save money

This was definitely a good value for money. Being one of the cheapest hotels in Muscat on offer, you can't really expect too much, but it was quite decent after all. Spacious enough, quite clean, good condition, very good customer service... and at least for me, the location was quite good. Muscat is huge and distances between the different points of interest are sometimes 15-20 km. Savoy Grand is just about 7-8 km from the airport and there's maybe at least 25 km from the old town, the palace, the national museum, Mutrah souq and the port. The hotel is very close to a public bus stop on the main highway that passes from West to East (from the airport to the old part of town). There are multiple shopping malls and places of attraction around that road, so it's really convenient in that sense.

Staff was very friendly, and helpfull. The hotel was cheap and good, but a bit far from main attractions. That should not be a problem though if you don't mind taking the bus.
