Dewachen is a amazing property and fantastic location overseeing the Phobjikha valley. Rooms with wooden flooring n walls are spacious with the old fashion bukhari (wood fired heater) and chopped firewood placed outside every room.Good breakfast options. Restaurant needs a bit of improvement since we were offered a set menu for lunch and dinner, would have preferred ala carte on a vacation. Lack of eating joints in the vicinity. Bitter experience on check out, after informing reception about early check out (6:30 AM) we still had to carry our luggage pieces to reception n later to our car. Later since reception was deserted, we had to hunt for the guy who turned up after I went to the kitchen upstairs and asked him to call the reception guy. 15-20 mins post checkout, the hotel called up asking us to return back since they needed our guide to sign some bills which delayed our early start by an hour.
