Nice place, nice room and nice staff

comfort,clean,tidy and friendy

Room was clean and comfortable. My only issue is that there wasn't a desk/workstation with suitable chair where I could work comfortably.

Always a nice stay, slept well and a fantastic breakfast. The only negative was the miserable greeting i got from the receptionist at check in.

Had an executive room - excellent! Staff friendly. Breakfast food was very good with a great selection of hot and cold.Nice touch was small bottles of water in the room and replaced each day if used. Close to town centre - 5 min walk. If in Leicester again would certainly use and I’d recommend.

Excellent value for money. Great room and excellent location for city centre visits. Car parking easy and well priced for centre of town.

My kids had a lovely stay in the family room for 4. Clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was good - lots of options on the fresh fruit, which we all loved! Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Leicester again.

Clean room. Warm and comfortable. Quiet. Friendly staff. Only niggle no bottled water in fridge and not enough coffee, sugar sachets. Worth the stay though

It was my first time at the novotel leicester and was very impressed with the hygiene of my room and the politeness of the staff. Will definitely be staying there again

Good location for town centre, station, etc. Good, clean and functional rooms. Comfy bed. Hotel has a nice bar for a drink before going out. Decent selection at breakfast. Only negative - the scrambled egg was truly nasty! I have never tasted egg like it; it tasted like it was made of powder, very unpleasant. Good hotel, good location - just avoid the scrambled egg!

Clean and comfortable room, right at the city center

Obtaining our room key was straight forward, quick and pleasant. The room was impressive, spacious & well appointed with all the sockets in the right places. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel is situated within walking distance of bars and restaurants. We showered soon after getting access to the room, there were several hairs in the shower cubicle, which was at odds with the rest of the clean room. The shower water was stone cold for both of us. Also, the shower screen let water by between that and the tray, creating a considerable flood in the shower room, which made the floor dangerously slippery. On going out for the night, my wife reported to the man on reception, he told her that the boiler was playing up, but that it was reset now. Absolutely no hint of an apology was forthcoming however. My wife had to go back to the room and the maintenance man and an older fella were both immediately attending our room to investigate the issues, so she was there at the time. The maintenance man climbed into the shower, he demonstrated that it was now hot after running it for some time. He turned to my wife and said in a condescending manner that it was now hot and did she 'want to test it?' He told her that the floor was flooded because we had incorrectly directed the shower head at the screen. They left, leaving muddy footprints in the shower. She had to ask for this to be cleaned. Still no apology, & the water was only tepid again in the morning!

Rooms were fantastic and very modern.

Always have a great stay here, bar staff really friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere
