10/10- We had the best stay at the Axel Hotel. They really thought of everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The staff was great, friendly, and informative. We also loved the location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great wellness center with whirlpool, sauna, and steam room!

Ottimo hotel in posizione strategica, 10 min a piedi dalla playa e allo stesso tempo lontano dal chiasso cittadino. Colazione favolosa e internazionale. Lo staff é stato sempre super gentile , lo abbiamo molto apprezzato. Anche palestra e spa sono ottime, unica pecca secondo me é che manca la possibilità di ordinare un drink quando sei a bordo piscina ma parliamo davvero di piccolezze. Tornassi a San Sebastián , lo sceglierei senza dubbio .

Friendly staff / good location

This is a fun hotel. A little 2020 “woke” in the branding but it’s in on the joke I think. “Heterofriendly” had me laughing as I’ve always thought, oh wow, hotel, thanks for being “gay-friendly”. In terms of amenities and spacious rooms it’s hard to beat in this old town.

Short trip to Sansebastin

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property was clean and the room was as advertised. I would stay at this property in the future.

Roligt område og er pænt, rent hotel. Vores værelse var lille og underligt indrettet, og bestemt ikke som det ser id på billederne.

Veldig kult hotell og flotte rom. Sengen var noe hard. Solsengene på taket var ganske slitne/godt brukt. Ellers var frokosten veldig bra og personalet veldig hyggelig

Didn’t really like our room. Balcony was terrible, looked out onto 2 garages with graffiti all over them. A noisy sports place and straight across the road, was a place for old age pensioners to go and do activities. But the people would come out, look up to our balcony and give dirty looks. Not friendly at all. Would never go back

The hotel was pretty average. Nothing particulalry wrong with it, but not good value for money. The service was good and friendly. The room was ok, nice an big but the layout was not functional at all. no place to place your toiletries while using the sink. there was no headboard, the switches and outlets were behind the bed, we kept on bumping into them at night. The bed was not comfortable at all. The spa was good, but the swimming pool was terrible. Not enough umbrellas for all the chairs, the pool was very small and very shallow. All in all it's ok if you get it for good price, but I would not pay a premium for it.

dejligt hotel nær den gl. by, gode restauranter og cafes i lokalområdet - billigere end i den gl. by. Stor glæde af den lille pool og tagterrasse med fri udskænkning af cava og isvand
